I belive that death in video games should be portrayed as realistic as possible. I know that it is a video game but i apprciate the realism. This reminds me of Dead Space. The death scenes punishes you for being careless and the scenes are gruesome.

Precisely man. Few games have been able to do this in my experience. Most of them are too easy and provide the player with an option to increase the difficulty if he wants. Few games actually provide a good balance between a challenge and an impossible stage.

It happens with me also man. I take a long time to get through a game. Still i'd say i buy a new o e every 3-4 months and only if i really like the game.

It happened to me also with older steam games and with older games as well. Like you said it is always possible but i find that nowadays it's way harder. It seems that modern day games are much more difficult to corrupt.

Indeed! Brave new world is what made it so great for me. I remember playing the regular version and thinking "meh" But once I came in contact with the ideologies system and world congress system my opinion changed.

I think that the main point of such games is that there is no pre defined goal. Sure you might complete all the quests and upgrade your farm but the game doesn't punish you for not doing. And that's the beauty of it. There is a script to follow. But you're free to do your own thing also.
