    Will Blizzard Fall Behind?

They're still among the leaders of MMO games, and they keep pumping out big hits, like Overwatch. The difference with other genres is that MMOs require long-term commitment, so you can live off a solid starting user base without having to fear transitory trends. And such commitment is usually...

    Steam Workshop

The first time I checked the workshop was for Guacamelee (custom skins here and there), and they were pretty nice, although nothing to write home about. Then I checked Skyrim's, but I was already using Nexus Mod Manager, so no point in using both (considering the latter had a much broader...

    Arcade games

Hey, technically Star Fox 64 is an arcade game, so I'll go with that one. As for proper arcade games, I think Metal Slug 3 will always hold a special place in my hea- Wait, what do you mean it's mobile games we're talking about?

    Your first online game?

I didn't play it for long, but I think Elsword was the first one I tried out. It wasn't all that bad, but it's still the game that made me realize I'm not really cut for online games. At around the same time, though, I remember I found out about an MMORPG game for Lord of the Rings, and I...

    Coloured controllers

Nope, I've always bought the black, gray or white ones. Boring, I know, but they're usually the only colors that are specifically made to avoid fingerprints. God, I hate that. All the coloured controllers I've seen so far have a polished surface, so they're terrible with it. Plus... I want my...

What franchise would you like to see in a Telltale series?

Please, please give me a Star Wars Telltale game. That sounds amazing, really. I think franchises with big universes, interesting lore and good narrative are all eligible and could potentially yield very good results in a Telltale game. A Bioshock Telltale game would be wonderful, even more so...

What are some good games you can play over and over again?

If you want games to play over and over again, go with procedural generation games. They're the only ones you need to play over and over again, and probably the ones that incentivize replays the most. The Binding of Isaac is the first typical example that comes to mind, but I found a nice game...

    How long has it been?

If you count mobile games in, three minutes or so. If you don't, then considering I last played last night, half a day or so. I try to play even a little bit every day, especially if I'm overwhelmed by work, so this interval has rarely been longer than 24 hours. I'd go nuts in a matter of days...

How to get initiated to Games developement ?

I don't fully know myself. I guess I just lost interest as time went, and I also got progressively busier with school. I was driven by curiosity more than anything, there was no true "passion" that lead me to start, and I later found myself lacking the motivation I needed to keep going. Maybe...

    Movies into Games

Yeah, it takes a lot from Assassin's Creed's gameplay, which is spectacular at best. I've heard the LEGO Batman movie is quite good as well, although much different in gameplay and plot. I've never tried Spiderman 3, but it does sound like a very solid game, a Spiderman-styled GTA sounds dreamy.

Do you have to complete a game 100%?

I always feel the impulse to complete a game to 100%, and I actually do when it feels feasible (most Metroid games and basically all Zelda ones). It's nice to catch little details or whole areas you missed or just skimmed during your main playthrough, and it feels pretty satisfying to figure out...

What kind of mouse are you using on your rig?

I just use a wired, random Trust mouse, one of the cheapest ones around. Bought it six years ago, and it's starting to wear out just now (a few missed clicks here and there), so I'll probably replace it soon... with an equally cheap mouse. I don't need anything higher than 1200 DPI for my...

    Easy or Hard?

I like challenging games, but going in blind on hardest mode setting is suicide. I always go with the medium setting (I don't think I've ever chosen the easy one), since it allows you to enjoy the game and its plot at the same time, and then choose harder modes to keep things interesting. For...

    Movies into Games

I was a kid when I played one of the Harry Potter DS games, and the one I had played before it was the PSX version of The Chamber of Secrets, which I had a lot of fun with. I was so incredibly disappointed. Yeah, I played the first Spiderman game on the PS2 and it was quite good, moving by...

    Alien Isolation PC Game

I've kept my eye on this game for quite some time, too, and I was wondering the same. I've watched some gameplays and it looks pretty darn nice. It stays true to the original series' atmosphere, which is definitely an upside in my book. Furthermore, it seems to have a nice level of challenge...

Do I need a good monitor for higher FPS?

Yeah, I agree, monitors are not that important. As long as it has 60 Hz rate it will do just fine, no need to spend twice the money to get a 120 Hz refresh rate. Having a 60+ FPS refresh rate is only important in e-sports, since it means that inputs are checked twice as many times, so the game...

    Movies into Games

Most tie-ins suck. They're simple money-makers who live off the original series' popularity, producers don't even want them to be good games (because they would have to invest way more money). The only exception are older sagas with vast universes to expand upon. Shadow of Mordor is a good...

Buying or Selling of Accounts in Online Games

This has been a common practise for basically any game with accounts for the past decade, especially WoW and Terraria accounts, to make a few examples. I've never bought an account because I play to have fun, not to get the best team and/or equipment right away, nor have I ever tried to sell one...

    Lisa (The Painful)

I know the game and I've heard/read a lot about it. I'd say that its main inspiration lies in the Earthbound series (Mother 3, specifically), to which it makes lots of references, but with way darker tones, so definitely try it out if you like it. Undertale also takes inspiration from that...

Adjusting your clock to get more lives or energy

Probably not. Internet connection is required to assure you get ads, but it's most likely used to fetch hour and date from their servers. You should probably look at the game's specific permissions and in-game features: some might just require it for the leaderboard, in which case it should be...
