Music rhythm games haven't really been that popular but still, some game developers have been continuously supporting the genre. I still remember playing Um Jammer Lammy on the PS1. It was a nice rhythm game with cool music.
The genre hit its peak I think when the Guitar Hero games were released for the PS2 and the Xbox. I remember different guitar controllers coming out during these days. I thoroughly enjoyed playing the Guitar Hero games (using my regular controller only). I think dance games like just dance are also in this genre as they involve music and following movements and patterns.
I no longer crave to play these games though. I'm already bored by them. Do you still play music rhythm games?
