Game peripheral manufacturer Performance Designed Products (PDP) reportedly let slip the Wii U's release date. A company representative speaking at the GameStop Manager's Conference in San Antonio, Texas. reportedly said its accessories would launch ahead of the Wii U's November 18 launch.
When asked for clarification, a PDP representative told Kotaku, "We don't know exactly what was heard, but we simply do not know that this point. We are launching accessories [for the Wii U], but the date for the accessories doesn't mean a confirmation on the hardware."
Nintendo has not officially announced the console's price or release date at this time. The company is hosting an event in early September where it's expected we'll learn such details.
