I feel really fortunate that I have backup devices now, because if my laptop were to fail now, I would be very unhappy. I can even use my Kindle as laptop in a pinch so besides my two back up laptops I have that. The one I am on now is my favorite, but it has battery issues. It will likely fail...
This is something that I know nothing about so I will read this thread with interest and see what I can find out about the different gaming types and specs that should be used. They could lead to some expansive and interesting gaming I am sure.
Well there is a lot of cheating that goes on online. Cheats are readily available for certain games. I mean maybe learning a different strategy would be good, but to actually cheat is not fair to other players and shouldn't be done in my opinion.
I have but not while playing games. Having a compute hard drive fail is one of the worst things that can happen to you actually. Especially if you have unwisely not decided to back up your information, your game or whatever you were working on. I would suggest doing this always.
It doesn't sound like a game I would like. I am not interested in building or doing puzzles. I like word games, and some action games or sports games. It sounds like Minecraft would not be high on my list of likes.
Hi Pixie and welcome back! I guess you must have missed the forums. It is really good to have new members. I am always looking forward to hearing what they have to say.
I don't think it will take over gaming consoles. There are people who just game on the PC and that is it, and those who game on consoles. I don't think it is a mutually exclusive group. I just see it as something that people do who don't want or can't afford a game console.
When I do gaming it is usually just the electronic mouse that is built into the keyboard of the laptop. I don't use any specialized equipment on which to game. It is just one of those things that I don't pay a lot of attention to I guess. The types of games I play don't require special equipment.
It is just a way to escape reality for a few minutes. I think it is the same reason people go to the movies or watch television, however, gaming is better because it is more of an interactive experience and one that most people seem to benefit from.
Ha that sounds funny like the movie about the guy who fell in love with a voice like Siri. I think these sorts of things will continue to happen as the lines between fantasy and reality get more and more blurry. It is just bound to be something that will continue to happen more.
My son also loves to play the Call of Duty Games. He plays those with other people who have some like ideas so I think he is pretty happy playing the game. I am not sure what version he is playing but he spends alot of his free time playing and enjoying the game so it is something that is played...
Well when my roommate was active in Mafia Wars he was a Godfather and became a mod. I think he liked the interaction of the game, and the leadership position. I guess perhaps he was my favorite mod, I don't really know any others to be honest!
I haven't tried it, but I might pass that link along to my son because he is a coder and a gamer. He might use this to try his hand at game development. I think that it could be a useful link for him to put in his arsenal. I would encourage him to do so, and use it for game development, as it...
Yes, I a mean if you can have fun working out, why not do it? It is just one of the ways that you can kind of kill two birds with one stone. I do want to get a wii one of these days because I think it is something that I could really benefit from.
Well, not really. I like some of the games that I play but I don't see myself playing them forever, or like "I can't get enough" of the game or something like that. There are games that are fun, but I could see myself tiring of them after awhile. Sometimes games just aren't that thrilling.
I don't really take my gaming seriously enough to have any favorite characters but no doubt there are some out there. I think some of the characters from the gaming world are really quite interesting, with interesting backgrounds to boot.
I have never played Minecraft but I know it is a very popular game. It has been around a long time so it certainly has stood the test of time. I think that it does have it's devotees that will continue to play the game no matter what happens with it. It is a good thing to have in your game...
I think the convenience of handheld may be very attractive, but it is probably not going to matched by the unique and full throttle experience of a console. If you don't have a console, or want to keep gaming wherever you are, I guess the handheld option is one for you. It is a personal decision...
I think speakers would be important for the best gaming experience. They are important to make sure that you get the best overall experience.
They may not be critical as you can always use a headset instead but they will help you to get the all important sound going on. I would recommend them.
I don't use headsets while gaming but I could. I just don't do enough things that makes it worthwhile for me to use the headsets. I think it is good for people who are intense gamers though so they don't disturb anyone else with their activity.
