Was always partial to COD because I couldn't physically play Battlefield.
In Battlefield, the character has a sway when they move/run that isn't present or isn't as pronounced in COD. It would end up causing me motion sickness after an hour session or so. Because of that, I just gave up on the...
Big fan of tower defense games myself and was addicted to Kingdom Rush and a couple others on my iPad back in the day.
I also love games like Civilzation, Age of Empires, etc.
Moral of the story here is do not bite the hand that feeds you. Company didn't care about the PR backlash but with RDR2 and other titles coming down the pike, they were probably scared about future earnings potential.
If you want an endless supply of games and don't mind playing 'oldies' look into DOSBOX and Abandonware. There are thousands of great old games that you can download and play for free.

Nope. I go in with the expectation that most communities are toxic because of the typical age range and disposition of the player base. Then again, I have pretty thick skin in the first place and have no problem ignoring what may upset or discourage the average person.
Say what? You could load Snake into TI calculators back in the day. Those specs are good enough to run most emulators provided there is a working Linux port.
Yeah, I've dropped coin on specific gear to help in games. For example, when I was seriously playing COD, I dropped a couple hundred on a Turtle Beach headset as well as things like KontrolFreek thumbsticks. I can honestly say that both had a positive impact on my in game experience as well so...
Just curious but why wouldn't you just use DOS Box? While it technically is an emulator, I find that much more pleasurable so you don't have to fumble around with trying to get the games to run. For those of us that lived through that era, that was one of the major pains in the rear because you...
We have a ton of second hand video game stores in my city -- Disc Replay, The Exchange... even Half Price Books has a case with rare video games they have sold to them. If all else fails, you hit eBay as mentioned multiple times over.
The first PC game I ever played was Ghostbusters on my friends Commodore 64 back in the 80s. You started out with $10k and got to setup your vehicle of choice and then went hunting. Here is a video from YouTube that pretty much shows it all:
He also had a couple other games we'd play but I...
This. If this is going to be a gaming PC, the first thing that needs to be addressed is the budget because there is a giant different between an entry-level video card that support games 'just okay' compared to running 2-3 GPUs that let you max the settings out on huge displays. Heck, when I...
Guys, this thread was three years old. Why are both you answering like this is breaking news? Additionally, the Xbox One without Kinect has been sub $300 for quite awhile now -- can be had pretty much anywhere for $249 with a 500GB drive and $299 with a 1TB drive.
I believe they still have a firm lead in the PS4/Xbox One console race so unless they see sales numbers dip, I totally agree with you that they have absolutely no incentive to refresh their hardware as drastically as Microsoft felt compelled to do. Let's be honest, the only reason they did is...
Yes, it was widely used by my favorite by far was the STG-44. I racked up killstreak after killstreak with that bad boy. As others have said, the ACR was pretty dominant in most of the titles it was in as well.
In Black Ops 2, I really liked the SWAT IIRC:
Also REALLY enjoyed the crossbow...
If you're like me, you probably spend time hunting through the Steam game store and marking games you want to buy... most likely during the next Steam sale. What titles do you currently have in your Steam wishlist?
Gannon.
I still do his evil laugh from when you die in Zelda all time time to my wife. Although she doesn't get the reference (even though I've explained it to her 100 times), I now have her doing it in certain situations.
