    Speakers

I have no need for speakers, earbuds are enough. Though sometimes when I want better sound, I use headphones. About 5 people live in my house, why would I want to disturb them with speakers? I listen better with earbuds, actually.

Do you like to play strategy games?

A good strategy game is all I need to clear my mind. Planning helps exercise my brain and sometimes pushes it to the limit. Civilization V and Plague Inc.: Evolved are two of my favorite strategy games.

    Steam Summer Sale

I'm hoping to get maybe Euro Truck Simulator 2 or This War of Mine. I haven't seen anything worthwhile besides those two though. As such, I'll use what I've learned from previous sales and wait until around the 28th to see if there's any good offers.

    Steam Summer Sale: 2017

So far I don't really see a deal I like. Hopefully in the upcoming days (we still have about 12-13!) more and better deals will be released. If I learned anything from past sales, it's that initial sales just build up hype and drain wallets. About midway into the sale there will be some good...

    Wired or wireless controller?

Definitely wired. Why deal with the hassle of buying batteries all the time when you can use a simple wired controller? Not to mention wireless gear is usually more expensive than wired gear. No need to spend extra just to get rid of a cord, at least in my opinion.

What's a game you'd like to see remade?

Spiderman for the PS1. That game has amazing graphics, for a 2000 game. Seeing as how modern technology has given us stunning visuals in video games, I would love a remake. It would be even better if it was made a true open world game. The story was great, so seeing a 2018 remake would be lovely.

    Favorite video game villain?

My favorite villain? I'd have to say none other than one of the toughest, meanest bosses in old gaming: Frank Horrigan. Appearing in Fallout 2, this beast is no longer human, and is the definition of the ultimate boss. Having perfect stats and a plasma gun, he can mow down even the highest level...

Utilizing an expensive gaming PC to its full potential

There certainly are people who have the extra money to spend. The person with the current highest Steam level spent $13,000 to get it. Would you mind sharing the specs? And how much it cost in total? I'm just curious.

Do you spend money on gaming gear?

Apart from my mouse, I don't. I bought a GX-M1 mouse that is special for gaming, but I bought it to kill two birds with one stone. At one point my mouse broke, and I needed a new one. Since I played a lot of games at the time, I bought this mouse to suit my needs. I got it cheap, so I didn't...

    Chatting while playing?

I usually only chat if it's related to the game. A strategy or something of the sorts, for example. Otherwise I avoid engaging in casual talk, as I wish to concentrate on the game. If someone sends me a message while I'm playing, that is an exception. I'll always respond, though out of courtesy...

Do you still use PC for playing games?

I use a PC because it's all I have. If I could have a very good PC and a PlayStation 4, I would use both. I would use the PC for games that I want mods for, while using the PS4 for games that are easier with a controller or console-exclusive, such as the Prison Architect DLC. Even so, with a...

What is currently in your Steam wishlist?

Currently, this is my (outdated) Steam wishlist: 1. Fallout 4 - I don't know why I have it, if my processor would burn out after 5 minutes of gameplay, if it loads at all. 2. Nimble Writer - Also don't know why I have this, probably just some random addition I made ages ago. 3. Sid Meier's...

    Do you still Play Minecraft

Sometimes I come back and create a new world and just explore. I am, however, using a very outdated version of the game (1.6.4) for my main worlds. That's because my favorite mods are on that version. When looking for just a vanilla experience, I use the latest version. I used to play Minecraft...

    Favorite PS1 or PS2 games

Spider-Man for the PS1. A great classic. I never really remember finishing that game, since the disc was scratched. Never really got far past the scorpion fight though. Nevertheless, I loved playing it as a kid. It really was groundbreaking for a 2000 PS1 game. I also absolutely loved that Stan...

    Gaming Movies

I agree, the film could make for a good video game, seeing as how it feels just like a playthrough of the "game". On another note, has anyone here watched Spy Kids 3: Game Over? I don't want to spoil too much, but takes place in a VR game that is similar to an RPG. It follows the story of the...

    Favorite Game Mod?

Basically any Civilization V mod. I prefer the mods that add civilizations, such as the Code Geass mod or the Tokyo-3 civilization. However, the ICBM mod and the Less Warmonger Hate mod are both essentials. The ICBM mod completely changes how nuclear missiles work in the game. The LWH mod...

Rate Minecraft out of 10? i need to know before i download it..please

In my opinion, I'd rate it a solid 8. At least for the PC version. In Minecraft, you can do basically anything you want. Really. It has loads of content. As if all the content it has wasn't enough, it's still in development. That means that many more updates are upcoming. If the vanilla game is...

State your Favorite new Pc game (of 2015-17)

New game? As in a game that came out in the past 2 years? If that's the case, it has to be Fallout 4. While some may find the game lacking, I found its new features to be quite enjoyable, specifically the new Power Armor. The story had a huge plot twist and doesn't seem too cliché. While not...

What was the first PC game you ever played?

Plague Inc. I had the mobile version on my phone for some time. When I lost that phone and got my laptop, that was the first game I bought. I sometimes go back to it, just for the nostalgic feeling. I've been through a lot with this PC. If those kind of games count, then it was probably the...

    Where do you buy games?

As many others have said, Steam is by far the best option for PC. Aside from just selling games, Steam has Workshop, communities, groups, etc. Not to mention the great Summer and Winter sales they have yearly. You can get some great deals you won't find anywhere else during those sales.
