Wow that's a long time to own one computer! I usually do at least one major system upgrade every two years with the best I can afford at that time. Now jumping from XP to 10 may be a bit confusing at first but give yourself a couple weeks and I am sure you can get the hang of it.

I think so but even older. It came out about 2000 or 2001. There's still clans and servers up for the game and they are working on a new anti cheat. Here's some gameplay from about a month ago.

Of all time it would have to be Quake 2. Even today there are hundreds of servers online still. Also Soldier of Fortune II, which pretty much inspired the Call of Duty series, and many others. I play this online still even today.

The validation servers are not working due to so many people trying to activate. I had the same problem on someone else's PC and tried for hours to get it activated.

No, I always run the Pro version of whatever Windows I get, I have since XP. It probably did install an update and I never noticed. You should have an option to defer upgrades.

Wow, I have been using Windows 10 since March. It takes me about 18 seconds from turn on to desktop. Somehow though some people are getting it installed and its very very slow. Makes me curious why that would be? The only problem I have had since the current build of 10240 is the apps stopped...

Since I last posted here they have come out with an entirely new and different phpBB, which does not require tons of editing files. Upload, go to ACP and enable, much much simpler. I must say I like it better than the old phpBB.

Sometimes. I just spent an hour last night trying to get Xfire to do screenshots with PCSX2. It doesn't default to the correct settings.

RE: Full Protection On Your PC Malware Proof! I haven't had a problem with VirtualBox *knocks on wood* and that's what I am used to. Seems pretty stable at the moment but they do tend to update often as well, which is a bit annoying.

Nice hack. I was using the Hirens Boot disk (not sure if it even works with 8 to be honest) but this may be a better option.

The RAM is fine for the time being IMO. I've been running 8GB for a couple years now and have rarely seen more than 50% of it used.

I have I think an emulator on my PC for every system imaginable. Some games emulate better than others though.

Oh no but I wish I had gotten it. I played the original on the PC and really wanted to see it with upgraded graphics. Best Final Fantasy ever.

Definitely First Person Shooters, especially online ones. Been playing online FPSs since the mid 90s with Quakeworld.
