Any experience when playing Torchlight II?

I am playing this game and feeling excited with it, Torchlight II seems a good game that can be a good alternative to Diablo 3?

Did any one here play this game and what is your experience with it?

The only Torchlight that I've played was the first one. I really loved it though. It is true that it's comparable to Diablo 3. They have a very similar style and are basically the same genre. I generally like hack and slash games but Torchlight 1 was particularly good because it felt well-made and it has a very rich environment.

How are you finding Torchlight II? Is it worth buying or not?

Torchlight II has been on my list of games to get for a long while now. I've always had a soft sport for RPGs and dungeon crawlers every since I played the Dungeon Siege games, so it's always looked right up my alley. I'm curious like Gladdy, though. What's your experience with Torchlight so far? Is it worth the money and time?

Yes I played Torchlight II because I had not got a chance to play Diablo 3 in the past.
it is a good game and I feel difficult to play it in some stages or it has a large map and I have a bit more difficult to solve tasks there.
A great point for Torchlight II is it has great effects and I think it can compare with Diablo 3.

I really enjoyed the Torchlight series. I feel that it is pretty underrated and doesn't get nearly enough of the praise or attention which it deserves. I have always liked the action role-playing/hack and slash genre of video games, and games like Titan Quest and Diablo 2 are some of my favorites.

That being said, I played both Diablo 3 and Torchlight II, and I have to say that I actually prefer Torchlight over Diablo. I love Diablo 2 and Torchlight II felt like a good Diablo 2 clone. Not only was it better at being a Diablo game than Diablo 3, but it had other added benefits to it. I loved the art style, and the fact that Steam actively supports mods for it through the Steam Workshop only adds to the games longevity. I still occasionally play Torchlight II while I haven't even touched Diablo 3 since I've bought it.

If you like Torchlight, you could try Titan Quest - since it was recently released the Anniversary Edition. My favorite game of this genre probably.

Well, I love Titan Quest, so I think it's safe to say I'll most likely enjoy Torchlight II. I should have grabbed during the Steam sale, but I'm sure it'll be up for a discount again in the future. I'll be on the lookout for it!

Torchlight 2 is one of those games that is ALWAYS on sale every one in a while, and often really cheap. I don't think you'll have to wait too much! Did you play the first one too?

Also since you like the genere I might suggest to check also The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing - it's a trilogy, and they are pretty decent games too.

I did not play the first one. I saw the second game on sale on Steam a while back and it piqued my interest, so I added to my wishlist. I've heard positive things about the Van Helsing trilogy too, but haven't checked it out. I'll have to do that too! Hack and slash and dungeon crawler RPG's have been among my favorite ever since I played Dungeon Siege.

The second Torchlight can be a good second choice to Diablo III, it is a good game with many good mechanics and with long hours of play that I can assure that I have had, but the game that really proved to be a worthy opponent for Diablo III is Path Of Exile, you should try it out is an F2P game in steam has not lost.

Do it, is a great game, but one recomendation first, the servers of the same are not the best, that for me is the only con but still a great game, you can find it in Steam.
