Anyone here do martial arts i do karate with my daughter i consider it to be a art and a sport

I don't do martial arts but I have a couple friends that do it and are really good at it.

I am a 1st kyu in karate thats 1 belt away from being a black belt a 1st dan im on a brown belt with 2 white stripes and my daughter whos 9 is a 4th kyu witch is a purple belt with a white stripe we are both doing well and hope to achieve are goels to be karate instructers one day and open are own dojos
