Best cinematic game trailers of all time.

A couple of the best that I've seen so far:

Both gave me shivers. Keep in mind when posting, they don't have to be modern titles. This is sort of like the Hall of Fame for cinematic game trailers.

The Division one is complete bullshit since the game was downgraded since then, by a lot as well.

I was so hyped to play Hellgate: London after seeing the amazing cinematic trailer. Too bad the actual game was meh. I later found out the trailer was made by another company specialized in CGI movies.

I completely agree with the SWTOR one. I saw it after it dropped and I got so hype for the expansion. They always have pretty great cinematics, but this one was somehow above the rest

I would have to go with an oldie but goodie here, I pick Metal Gear Solid for great cinematics. This game might be really, really dated as far as titles go, but the storyline and the cinematics before every fight scene and the dialogues themselves are top notch. Whenever we play Metal Gear Solid in the house, I usually wait for the cinamatics to finish before I tangle with the enemies and their foot soldiers. I love great stories and this game was made like an Espionage Thriller (actually, it is).

The best cinematic trailers I've seen so far are the Kingdom Hearts, Mass Effect, Star Wars the Old Republic, and The Witcher cinematic trailers.

For me personally, I always find the Final Fantasy trailers to be extremely good and exciting. My favorite ones.

If you aren't hyped and excited after that then I truly don't know. I'm always speechless watching them. Even the in-game cinematics are SO good. Watching it now made me want to run to my PS4 and play it - that says it all.

One of the best cinematic game trailers I have ever seen would have to be Battlefield 1. It was so clean and looked so smooth. The graphics just looked so good and so it made the game look like an even better game.

One of my most favourite trailer is the one for Dead Island:

The game itself was a bit of a disappointment, but this trailer is amazing. Is well directed, is powerful, it leaves one with an impact. It might not be the most spectacular game trailer ever, but it sure leaves an impact on you.

I was moved one Christmas by this game trailer. Like DC went all out on this game. I enjoyed making my character that's for sure.

The trailer for Heavy Rain from the E3 of 2009 or 2010, was so intense and thrilling, looks very much like a movie. [the game too tho]

Can't believe no one has mentioned them yet, but just about every cinematic trailer that Blizzard puts out is absolutely amazing. One of the best examples of this is the trailer for StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.

I still get goosebumps watching it to this day, and I've seen it dozens of times. I always wanted to see an entire film made in the style of Blizzard's trailers but I imagine the budget would be through the roof. And no, don't even mention that World of Warcraft movie abomination. I don't want that, no one wants that.

Yeah... Starcraft has good cinematic game trailer especially for Starcraft II. Also God of War. Simply epic on my point of view.

Oldie but goodie, this opening cinematic (I know you said game trailer but still) will pump you up for the entire game. Lots of the units are shown, the campaign gets a kickstart, and you get pumped up and have to choose which side you are on. The music is great, and for a 2000 game, the cinematics and animation aren't half bad either.

The trailer for the first Gears of War game with Mad World in it was instantly memorable for me.
The dead Island trailer that runs backwards was huge too. Also the first Bioshock trailer, i remember really wanting to play that game after seeing the trailer.
