Complaints about the PS3?

I think the PS3 is better than many consoles because the on line play is free. no complaints here.

My biggest complain about the PS3 was that Sony broke mine during an update which so thoroughly ruined the install of the OS that I couldn't even access the safe-mode menus. It effectively bricked my console, forcing me to do all these squirrely things with hard drive enclosures and weird programs to read the Sony file system because they weren't even willing to fix what they broke for free. I've been a long time Sony customer but I think twice now before purchasing anything from them.

One thing I hate about it is if you play for about 8 hours straight then it gets a bit hot and it affects the game speed and loading time unlike the fat PS2 which really doesn't overheat. I made a mistake and bought the thin PS3.
