Do you play mobile games to kill time?

Yeah I only play mobile games to kill time, since I haven't found any games recently that are fun enough for me to play when I could do something else. I usually play games that don't require data when I'm on the subway since there's no reception and there's nothing else for me to do other than stare off into space, but that's about the only time I play these games.

But of course mobile games definitely have their uses.
Heck, I'm playing Star Wars heroes and it's very fun.
And they have Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic as a mobile game now and you can put mods in it.
Doesn't get much better than that if you ask me.

I sometimes use mobile games to kill time. I usually play play them to kill the time of I'm going on a long drive or if I can't fall asleep at night. I don't even have a lot of games though, I have like two, lol.

My smartphone s packed with games all for the purpose of killing time. I play Carx Drift racing a lot and 8 ball pool. Most times I prefer playing games that doesn't require a lot of interaction like 8 ball pool. It's simple yet fun.

I play them to kill time but also because I do enjoy mobile games. I especially love Clash of Clans and games similar to it. Being able to play with real life friends or others, in general, brings mobile games closer to PC/console gaming and more than just a way to kill some free time.

But yeah, I admit, I often find myself turning my phone on and playing games when I'm somewhere waiting and have too much time on my hands. It's a good distraction.

When I am in a public transportation and the traffic on the road is heavy, I have no choice but either to sleep or use my phone. That's the very reason why I had installed some games on my phone so that I wouldn't endure the boredom of traveling more than 2 hours. Candy Crush is my favorite game lately because I enjoy playing it even if I cannot explain why. And even when I get home, I sometimes play it while waiting for dinner. You can say I'm addicted to it because I seemed to have abandoned the other games on my phone.

I don't play games on my smartphone anymore. I used to mobile game consistently, it was a way to pass the time during those dull moments. However, I got tired of running out of space while simultaneously slowing down my phone. My interest also switched towards PC gaming. So when I upgraded from Android to an iOS (iPhone 5S), I stopped playing mobile games altogether. The last game I used to play was Miniclip 8-Ball Pool because it's multiplayer with my Facebook friends.

Also, I feel mobile gaming has entered what I hear people calling a "freemium" era. Still with in-app purchases, but the overall quality of mobile gaming content isn't where it could be (especially for Android). So between that and switching focus, I lost attention with mobile gaming.

I still play a lot of games on my iPhone to only kill time or to do something when I'm actually bored.

I very rarely have time to kill, unless I'm sitting in a waiting room at the doc or something. I used to have a Tetris game on my phone that I played once in a while while waiting. I don't think it's even on the phone I have now. I'll have to look for it again. It's a bit of fun, since I get bored and annoyed when I have to sit and wait for long periods of time.

Otherwise, I'm not too much into mobile gaming.

Sometimes, yes. I have a few games on my iPhone so I can play them while I'm travelling, or during a boring UNI lecture...
Right now I'm killing time with Plague Inc. and kill me please but yesterday I just had weak moment and installed a game named Choices.

I played solely mobile games for a few years recently because I had no pc or console. They used to be rather basic and lackluster, but now they are getting better and better quality and size and are getting closer to console quality; hell, some of them ARE console quality or actual ports now. I mean, they put GTA: San Andreas on mobile a while back....it may be older but that is one big ass game!

Mobile games drain a lot of battery compared to say, playing music on your phone. So that's what I do, and it's a lot more relaxing that way. Just watching the environment while you are blasting some tunes on your phone is a nice way to spend some free time while waiting for something. Definitely a lot more fun for me than playing games on the phone, since it's both battery consuming and it gets repetitive eventually.

I play all the time while I'm in the bathroom. I usually play dungeon crawlers like QuestLord or Pixel Dungeon that kill time really fast. I'm not really a fan of those running games like Subway Surfers or Temple Run, but I also play some games on my DS emulator like Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time.

I don't really game on my phone, I usually bring a handheld if I feel like gaming away from home. I keep my phone open for emergencies and phone calls or simply surfing the web if I need to know some information on the spot. I just don't really care for the interface of a lot of games on the phone and I'd much rather be holding a controller instead.

I feel like I don't game on my phone as much as I used to, but maybe it's just because I'm either too busy or I'm playing something on a handheld or console or PC, depending. Knowing that Monument Valley 2 dropped the other day might bring be back around to mobile gaming for a bit as I really loved the first one. I also really want to play through Chrono Trigger, so I'm considering picking it up for my iPhone.

I did, games like Candy Crush, Temple Run, Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride were my go to games before, I play them if I'm bored in class, or waiting for something or someone. But now, I just look around and talk to people to kill time.

Yes, I play many mobile games. Everyday I spend at least an hour playing, I can not pick up the phone and not play. My favorite games are Clash of Clans, Candy Crush Saga and The Walking Dead

I often travel from one place to another in cab. Also my office cab has 1 hour to go from the distance every single day. And for this reason killing time is the issue. I make use of the simple games or the puzzles. And this means one has to play the mobile games. I have games in tablet and the smartphone. That's how it can be fun there.
