I personally don't like the vanilla minecraft anymore, but for some reason I really like the (I was told) techkit (?) mods that add different types of energy like solar, wind, thermal, geo, etc... and powering mining quarries with that. Haven't played minecraft though in a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time

I don't play it actively anymore. Sometimes I play it because I miss it or because I want to relax.

I love how expressive and creative you can be. All the open possibilities are mind blowing.

It lost its hype as every game does eventually but is far from dead. There are still many people that do play it. Especially on PC. It has a big fan base so players are still very active.

You can find many different servers.. but ye, most of them have mods added.

From time to time I do try to occasionally play minecraft for a bit due to the sandbox nature of the game. It is definitely a game to just sit back and relax in and just explore the world.

I haven't played it in a year or two now, I tend to get quite bored of it quickly, probably because I don't enjoy it as much as I used to. I would like to start playing again!

I play mine craft since i was at 6th grade as i remember and the beta version of it is quite funny because as you see there are not so many, resources to choose from, unlike today as i started back playing it with my little cousins they were extremely shocked that they didn't know that i know how to play the game well of course as a returned player, i already don't know entirely about the game because of it's massive updates recently hahaha, thanks Mojang. :D

I still occasionally go back to Minecraft.

The versions I enjoy the most are the heavily modded ones.

The technic pack and other ones such as these. If you have every played the MMO version of Minecraft where you level mining skills and such it is also an entirely different experience.

I recommend trying the modded versions it is like an entirely different game!

About 2 years ago I played Minecraft for 4 hours a day, and I loved it.

I liked it so much that I started a YouTube channel off of it, and it got about 170 subscribers. If you want to go hear my squeaky voice, the name is RadixYT.

I then started to get bored because all my online friends were switching to other games like CS:GO and stuff like that, so I guess I only had fun playing with my friends.

A couple of years ago the only game I played was Minecraft and I couldn't get enough of it. When you spend so much time on something it's eventually going to get boring and you're going to become sick of it. That's what's happened to me and I've outgrown the game. I sometimes do hop onto the game every month or so for a bit just to bring back the memories that I had playing it. I also had a Minecraft Youtube channel and believe it or not, I reached 1000 subscribers but then I gave up on it due to Minecraft becoming boring for me. I'll probably never start actually playing the game again but it will always be in my heart as one of the best games I've ever played.

I used to play Minecraft on PC for hours. It was one of my favourite games, but then I just grew out of it as time went on. The game lost its appeal after about six months or so, and I moved onto games such as The Sims 3.

I lost any and all motivation to play the game until I saw that Minecraft: Pocket Edition was on the App Store. I've fallen back in love with the game - frequent updates keep everything new, and I've started to download add-ons such as mods, texture packs, and custom worlds (think parkour maps and such).

I don't think I'll become bored of the game anytime soon. I don't play it as often as I used to, but that doesn't mean I'm any less fanatical about it!

Minecraft is like The Sims. You are busy with your day when you suddenly remember how much fun you had last time you played Sims/Minecraft. You think about it all day, and fantasize about what you are going to build and what you are going to do when you finally get to play it! You find some time that evening, after all your responsibilities are taken care of, and you finally boot it up. You play it for a couple of hours, and everything is bliss! But then you remember that there is no goal. All you're doing is gathering resources and working towards a goal, even though you know nothing will happen when you reach it. You work and you work until it is no longer fun, instead, it's just a chore. You log off and tell yourself you're done with playing, and then you forget about it for a couple of months, maybe even a year, until you suddenly remember how much fun you had last time you played! And the cycle continues. So yeah, I am still playing Minecraft. Once every 4 months or so :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

Minecraft still has super high playing numbers. Like over 20 million people still play each month so it's still relevant. I don't play as much anymore now-a-days because I was hit with a lot of security updates and it turned me off but there are certainly a lot of people out there who play each and every day. The building aspect never tires I guess. I do love watching the youtube videos of different people playing. I probably like that more than playing, sometimes. To answer the question, no I don't play anymore.

I play some FTB modpacks with my friends every once in a while. The modpacks keep the game fresh so I don't really get tired of it.

Minecraft, oh I never get bored playing minecraft. I never does, but I do get bored of playing a certain server after a while, when I already have everything and there is no more goals except some crazy builds that require so much dedication. I do love to play various mini-games for a few hours, something like the Hunger Games, or the UHC, or even the oldie Skywars. What I love about minecraft is the community. There are the famous ones, the kind ones, the criminal ones, it's like a whole new world. And because of that, I don't like playing single-player. It feels so boring and so lonely playing single-player, in a world by yourself, with no goal and no purpose. And even when I get bored ( though not for long ), I still watch minecraft videos from various youtubers, feeling like I am actually playing with all of the excitement. Minecraft is just an unlimited possibility. I can see myself playing minecraft even 5 years ahead, maybe with my own youtube channel, making awesome internet friends and not getting bored.

Minecraft is my jam!

PLENTY of people still play Minecraft, and you can tell if you go on YouTube or Twitch. Thousands or maybe millions people still watch and play Minecraft across all platforms and have still been enjoying the game after years of updates and gameplay worldwide with videos and live streams everyday!

I play Minecraft only when I'm really bored (like, really, really bored), or when I'm absolutely stressed out. The freedom that Minecraft offers is just so liberating compared to the glaring and suffocating expectations they place on me IRL.

That said, vanilla Minecraft is boring. It's when you have hundreds of mods at your disposal that the game's appeal really shines through. Adding magic mods and becoming a mage, or adding uranium and making nuclear power plants, and lots of others. Playing Minecraft is like drinking water, and playing it with mods is like turning it into the drink you like, be it coffee, juice or whatever.

Although Minecraft is not as big as it was when it came out, it is still pretty popular. There are hundreds of YouTube channels still popping Minecraft gameplays, and many websites that revolves around minecraft are still being created. Some community websites like Mcsell are popping up online. Minecraft may not be the top dog anymore, but in my opinion I think it is still a fantastic game. Not to mention the developers are still giving the game frequent updates.
