Ever designed your own logo?

I used to be really interested in graphics design and making pixellated art. So yes, I have designed logos for myself before and for others. This was over ten years ago though. I haven't even used any graphics design programs since then so I can only imagine how terrible I would be right now.

Making a good logo can be much harder than it seems. People just think you put some image there and few colours.. text and that's it. But that is far from the truth. A quality logo takes a long time to develop and draw out in the programs. You have to fit things together so it all makes sense and it matches your initial vision. It is a very creative process.

I've tried before but honestly you either have the vision or you don't. And with today's vast amount of already existing companies, each with their logo, its difficult to come up with something completely unique. There are plenty services that will offer a varying range of logos for varying prices. You can get basic stuff from Reddit for like $2 but of course you'd need to lower your expectations. Good stuff like what is offered by the top sellers on Fiverr come with revisions and a range of formats included which is nice. If you know where to look and you're willing to dish out some cash, then there is hope for you and your company. With the internet and what it offers these days, there's really no need to stress when you can't come up with or do something yourself.

I usually just start doodling and sketching when I'm not sure what I want. You could also consider joining one of those logo contest sites. They would give you tons of ideas from which to choose.

Like I mentioned before, you could also play around with a logo generator. There are lots of free ones. Even if you don't end up using what you come up with on there, it might be a good jumping off point. You might be able to get some inspiration or narrow down what you want. Good luck.

I never designed my own logo, but i paid someone to do it for me, but that was nothing....a beer or two because he was one of my friends. As Zyni say there are logo generators available online for those who need it fast. But if you want to create your own logo you will need a lot of effort and organization, tools and a lot of imagery.

Sure, with my little experience in graphics design, i always do my logos my self. Its not that difficult, just use a tool like zeta logo maker or AAA Logo software and get you design in minutes. But where designing is a no no for you, just tryout Fiverr and hire a logo designer for just $5.

I've done my own logo work before, though I think it's a bit more complicated than what people make it out to be (and how much people are willing to pay for one, honestly...). Almost anyone could do a logo, but it really is a lot more than just text, colors and maybe an image. If you want a truly good logo, you have to take other factors into account - how much it stands out from other logos, how simple it needs to be (simple is easier to recognize), where you'll be using it, etc.

I've always designed my own logo because I just prefer doing it myself. When you do it yourself you can make sure that your logo is exactly the way you want it to look and it can be perfect as well. The only problem with that though is that sometimes you may not be great as graphic design so that can be a bit of a problem. Personally, I am not too bad with graphics. I can design some good logos and graphics but of course, they are not as good as some of the designs by professional graphic designers. You can manage to get a lot more advanced graphics if you get someone who is good at graphics but my problem with that is that it can just get a bit expensive.

I have never designed my own logo as I am terrible at making logos and Banners if for YouTube Banners so I would rather pay a professional to do a logo for me then me do it myself if you know what I mean its a terrible choice I have to make it by myself and also if someone who does it I can tell them to make a better copy of it and buy it for a few extra $$$Dollars$$$
