According to the rumor section of the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine, a remake of Halo 2 is currently in development at 343 Industries.

According to the magazine, "Following the success of remake Halo Anniversary, 343 Industries has now started development of Halo 2 Anniversary." There is no real evidence or sources to prove the claim, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see Halo 2 get a high-def remake.

The developer reportedly squashed the rumor by a company called Microsoft ExpertZone. "We are not working on that at this time. We are kind of busy," said an unidentified 343 representative.
