Perhaps, one day when I learn to code I will. I actually have this idea for a BlackJack or Crazy 8's mobile game that you can play with your friends via Bluetooth when you are in close proximity to them. So in other words, you can flip and throw cards onto other people's phones in the game/app and play like that. It would be a wonderful cross-device experience that I have never seen another game pull off.

I'm sure with modern technology it is definitely possible. I'd also make sure that this game, unlike every other card game currently on mobile, actually looks great and has a store where you can download different themes and card designs, as well as a leaderboard system or something like that, adding some competitive nature to the game.

Not a video game but as a kid I made card games from scratch. Drew them from cardboard, made rules about it, made balance changes after playing a bit, the works. I'd love to make a similar game on the PC right now, but I never really learned the basics on computer design and creating games. I can draw digitally just fine, but I can't make them move or anything.

Not at all. Do random people make games? Or you have to be trained for that? I'll really love to try that out. I might be th evolution for the world's gaming etiquette *hehe

No, I have never do this. But I sure would like to do it if I knew how!. I guess it's a programing thing and as a nurse I don't know much of it. I have never tried to do it but I guess if I set myself a goal to learn how to do it I will do it in a few weeks/ months.

No, I have not even tried to do it. But I would love to. I do think about that possibility but I think it might be quite hard. You need so much more than only a good idea.

No, I don't have the coding skills to do something like that, but I bet my son could do it. He is pretty masterful when it comes to coding and something like that might be right up his alley. I think it is a strong possibility he might know how to do that.

No, but I'm intending to do so. I have a story for it, and some characters, heroes and antiheroes, monsters. I'm learning rpgmaker at the moment, though I don't really move forward, since I barely have time. Also I'm gonna need to find other people for the characterlines, music, and honestly, I'm not the best artist out there. And damn there's so many work with it, but totally worth it :D

Nope, unless I have to start learning Visual Basic or Cobol or any software for creating games. My dream was to create a female warrior to fight with the baddies and earn coins to buy good weapons, food, energy to survive. The winner gets to wear the crown and become the queen warrior.

I never had but I don't think it would be super hard? Just takes time and determination.

Wish I could make a game of my own! But, if you are going to make something make sure is a good one right? So that means to have time enough to be dedicated, and right now let's say I'm needing 30 hours days. Anyway I would definitively try out any new/independent game, no matter how simple it looks, just for the single fact people put effort into it.

Start with learning to code. I have found that those who learn to code make use of the demo games. And that also works out for some of the simple games. You can see that in such case it's lot easier to start with IDEs or even software such as Gamemaker. That also speeds up the development of the game.

I made a couple games before, it was for a class assignment. It was pretty fun, but simple.

Do share your games here. You can make a new thread in that case or you can reply here. I am sure you can see that there are plenty of us here who are looking to learn from others. So if you have anything to share please drop the links.

Well that is so cool! Hope to hear about it soon and you can share it with the community. Story and characters are so important in the creation process of a game. I would like to make a game but I don't have as much time as I would like to do it. I think it requires a lot of dedication. Go for it!

I had some programming at school so I made some easy games like tic tac toe and minesweeper...nothing interesting but even a simple game can be a huge success, like that 2048 games with moving blocks, it was easy but super popular.

I made a game in the past like at the age of 12 or 13 years it was on Sploder I forgot exactly what game it was for as they have different games on there and it was like 10 years ago lol and I can't but I think it was a robot shooter game or PlatForm Creator either ways it was a fun experience it took be me roughly 10-20 mins to make but I disliked it lol.
