When I was a kid,I always wanted to win.If not,I would have cried and screamed to anybody around me.I confused this stupid means of dealing a fail with a strong ambition.Over time I learned that success is not there all the time, and losing should be treated as a constructive experience.
I regret I had left ongoing childhood games with other kids, because of my stupid behaviour.
Actually,I am more as a pesimistic person, but I consider myself to be a realistic person. It makes me laugh when I see people being very optimistic, although they might not have big chances.I always put my chances in balance.
To go back to my childhood, yeah, losing caused me the weirdest general moods.

I've always had a thing for games at a very young age so I didn't lose much to anybody, and when I did, I'll always ask for a rematch.

When playing games when I was a kid, I used to lose to my younger brothers, and I mean a lot! Too bad for them, because I used to be a sore loser. After losing, it usually will end up with me pressing the power button of the console that were playing at that time, whatever it was, if not the power button, the reset--I never cared for feelings at that time, just my own. I'm not like that anymore, of course. How about you guys? What were your infantile antics when losing?

I did the same thing for my friends. I was an angry gamer back in the days as I hate when they thrash me and end up talking about it. It gives me the creeps! So I'd go ahead to hurt them each time they're almost beating me. I hit the power button and storm out of the room. We're even. Haha!
Bad practice, I know. I am a changed man today

OMG don’t make remember that dark phase of my life lol! I used to be a really crappy loser, super sore! As an only child I didn’t have brothers or sisters and that means no one to play with, except when my cousins came to my place once in a while. I was super spoil and get everything I wanted so when I lost I used to be really annoying and as my cousins knew it, they bothered me even more when I lost –just to make fun of it-. I got sooo mad to the point I even try to hit them but as I was the younger I actually couldn’t hurt them. I’m not like that anymore since I’m not a child but those were definitely obscures days lol!

I remember the time when I had a losing streak. I often click the mouse so hard and even throw my keyboard. Well yes! that is true, there was a time when I lost and I almost throw my keyboard away especially if I am doing my best and my teammates are still beginners. I am not angry to the game rather to my teammates and the way out of my anger is to hurt my keyboard. lmao ;)

I'm a sore looser when I was younger. Good thing that there is no online games yet. Now, loosing still gets in to my nerves but i can control things now.

Losing in games as a child was awful and humiliating.I just couldn't stand losing to a friend, and what's worse was the fact that they would rub it in your face. They still do.

Haha, I have similar experience. There are also times that we gamble with my friends though the punishment or the one at stake is myself - they punish me by getting my snacks at school somewhat like that. Its nice to reminisce those memories back then.

I take losing as a challenge to do better, haha. I hate losing but I'll just laugh it off after since I'm really enjoying the game. I don't take it seriously to the point where I get mad and start a rage when I lose. I'll probably just ask for another game, and make sure I'll win that time. Haha I won't stop until I win.

Man you wouldn't wanna know. But I'll tell you though. I used to have a lot of fistfights before when I was playing arcade and portable games when I was younger. Maybe those were the days where I began to develop my rageness lol.

I think it is fair that I lose from my cousins or my siblings. If playing locally, we just play for fun and treat the game as a hangout game. I never experienced once that I became frustrated over losing to someone else. Nowadays there would be days where I just feel bad, and losing in a game would make me pity myself and go to sleep.
I get very angry though when my teammates online are not cooperative.

When I was a child I hated to lose in the front of someone else no matter who it was. I hated losing but I never showed them that, I was thinking that they will be glad if they will see me upset so my reaction in front of my friends was to laugh and treat the situation peacefully, but you can imagine what was happening in my soul!

Nobody likes to be defeated but failure is part of life and as such we are bound to lose some and gain some.

Most times I lose woefully at certain games especially football but I have improve over the years though I still lose some.

When I was younger I would always throw fits and cry my eyes out when I lost, because I always thought of my self as the best. I really couldn't handle my emotions. Sometimes it would get really bad and I would and up flipping my bed over or trashing my whole room. Thank goodness I got more mature and grow out of that, but sometimes I still get that feeling.

Most kids feel that way due to early peer pressure. But when we grow up we will eventually realize that losing is just a part of the game. :)

I think I was never bitter about losing. I knew that in order to get better in the game I have to learn and keep playing. There's no point in getting emotional about losing, it's how it all works, sometimes you have to try many times to win.

Well, it all depended.

I took losing quite well at least half of the time, I would just ask for the rematch so I could prove I could kick their asses. Sometimes, if I lost at a game I believed I was really good at, I'd throw a fit and insist they cheated/I was distracted/It didn't count because whatever. I was a really prideful kid and while losing at a game I didn't care much about wasn't that big a deal, losing in a game that I thought I was the supreme queen at truly made me go in denial mode hahaha.

Now, if someone used dirty tricks to defeat me while playing a game (tickling, distracting me, you say it) I would get so pissed it wouldn't even be funny. Maybe even cry about it hahaha.

I was but a small child, I had no control over my emotions. Nowadays I'm really chill about it, though.

My sisters have always been very competitive, and now my cousins turned out to be exactly the same, so loosing between us means a lot because no one wants to loose, anyway we used to be very angry at each other back when we were kids, but now we try to help each other in order to be on the same level and be able to make alliances or squads. I think it was a childish reaction bc we were kids, but eventually we grew up and changed our attitude.

I remember getting super frustrated when losing lol. I always liked to win but I wasn't that skilled with games when I was a kid. I remember playing Super Mario World on the supernintendo console with my cousins and they were better than me at the game. It was a silly frustration that used to be gone in a few minutes.

I was also a very sore loser. I just hated boss battles that lasted for 15 minutes and were very hard. I don't have very quick reflexes so it was a pain in a butt for me to master the strategy to defeat bosses and to be consistent and careful for that long. Nowadays, I am not like that anymore, thank God!
