How Far Can You Go Just to Play Your Favorite Mobile Game?

Staying up late to play mobile games happens way more often than I'd like to admit. It's nothing insane, mind you, never more than an hour or so, but I still trade in sleep to do so. The "just one more time" mindset is strong in mobile games.

Nowadays, barely do anything for it. Back then, I would've probably killed someone for it. I was just so addicted to it back then and dedicated all my free time to grinding dungeons so I could get a chance to loot something worth selling. The game was so repetitive and is such a grindfest that I literally spent months doing the same routine of just grinding in dungeons whenever I have free time, even at college during lunch.

I am honestly not a HUGE mobile games player. I do play them but only when I am bored or stuck waiting somewhere. I am not saying that there aren't games which are really fun and addicting but I was never up all night playing them. So, I can't really relate to you. For me, they are more just time waster sort of thing... purely entertaining.

I will play a mobile game obsessively for a few days at most, then it just gets less interesting. Though in general I'm not prone to putting gaming above other things in life.

Well for me, I don't schedule the time I use for mobile gaming. Whenever I feel like gaming, I just bring out my phone and play on it. In terms of time of course I only play during my free and spare time.

There are times when I schedule my gaming time together with my friends especially on team games. We usually play on mobile legends around 10PM-1AM in the night. Well this is not often but sometimes this is our schedule. Being a team together grants us more wins than loses.

I have played some of the mobile games from start to end. I think by playing enough I have managed to clear most of the levels of those games. In short I am happy with those games and their gameplay. It may not be easy but so far those games are kind of addictive enough for me on many levels.

Mobile gaming has permitted me to play video games while at the bathroom.
It has allowed me to play games while at a meeting.
It has permitted me to play my favorite games while at a seminar.
I'm now able to play video games while waiting for my girlfriend in the car.
It has allowed me to play video games while eating.
It has allowed me to play video games while camping out at the middle of the woods.

These are just a few of the instances where I play mobile games which I think has gone a little bit far.

Yes, the "just one more time" mindset is actually what happens when we play games at night. I actually, would deny my sleepiness, because I keep playing "just one more time, until I see that it's already near midnight.
But now, I have controlled it, lest I will have falling har because of my lack of sleep.

So you mean that its a game where there are no levels, but it just keep repeating the same pattern of game?
How were you able to stop such addiction ?

Just like you I am not a huge mobile games player. That's because I am busy with my full time job the whole ays on weekdays. Though, at night, it can make me stay up late at times, becaus of " Just one more time" again and again until it's already so late at night.
But it is useful too on times when I have to be at he doctor for my quaterly checkup of all my vitals. It really keeps me entertained. No boring wait at all.

That's good that you have control of your gaming. I suppose ypu have your studies or work to keep you busy with than playin mobile games.

The levels , we would like to beat are actually what makes it addicting . And just like you I have already more than 4 kinds of games that I have completed all levels. Each time I am done with a games' all level, i uninstall them already and install a ne one. That way, my phone will nt slow down by man apps and games installe.

I can say that you play to beat boredom, basing on all the occasions when you play.

So you too, gets hooked gaming that you forget how late it is already. Then you will also have to wake up 5:00 in the morning. So, just like.

I'm kind of the opposite with that: I'll only stop playing until I get sleepy, but the thing is... I never do while I'm on the phone. I've tried to figure out how this is possible, since it happens just while I'm on my smartphone. PC? My eyes will close on me. Any console? I'll drop dead with the controller still in my hands. Reading? Don't get me even started on that. But I just can't seem to put my phone off. Most of the time I force myself to because I need to get up early.

Playing mobile games can be captivating you know. An advantage is the fact that the mobile device is handy and portable not cumbersome. I go to any length to get my battery charged most especially if am on a journey to get myself busy and ease boredom. I get so fascinated playing mobile games and often times i get a battery drain..so funny but the excitement and fun i derive goes beyond mere articulation of words put together...smiles:smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::yum::yum::yum:

That is true. We don't do that every night but around 2-3 times a week. Being with my friends as a team is more fun and we even discuss this at work together laughing and teasing with each other about our errors and mistakes during the game. That's the essence of playing with friends the fun and enjoyment.

That's very nice indeed because it is actually your group's bonding time since I suppose each of you have their jobs as their priorities. Thus, having this gaming thing as a team, helps all of you to relax from your jobs. I salute you guys for having a clean and fun way of bonding.
