For $1200 you damn well better be satisfied with the laptop you got lol. I don't think I can spend that much for a laptop though. A 1080 graphics card is about $750, which can run most games now and for the next 5 years or so. It's a much better investment for your money in my opinion, but then again it's heavy and you can't move it anywhere so a laptop might be better for mobility

But yes many people told me that for 600$ I can have the same specs or a bit less if Ill have a desktop. I also watched in youtube videos that there are like 3000$ laptop and i think 5000$ is the most expensive gaming laptop i ever saw.

Well this is a $9000 gaming laptop. Apparently the specs are so good it matches the top PC rigs, and it's mobile (if you count that monstrosity as mobile). It has a curved monitor and it can definitely play all you want without any heating problems. But for $9000 I can probably just use that money to go out and just get a life lmao.

I can't put an exact number but obviously thousands. Probably $4,000-$5,000 between all the games, the consoles themselves, accessories, etc. It's kinda shameful but at the same time it is something I love.

I mean, it must have stellar specs for sure, but...9000$? No one in their right mind with a reasonable wallet would jump of that. Plus, that trackpad on the right looks pretty uncomfortable.

It doesn't even have mobility anymore which is the saving grace of a laptop anyway. If you're gonna spend that amount, might as well be an awesome PC. That laptop can't be moved since it's so big and you might actually drop it if you're not careful. Bye bye $9000. So if it's just gonna sit at a table in your home, may as well have just bought a PC for half the costs - and with even higher specs.

I can't imagine that PC sitting on any table without catching fire, honestly. That's probably what a bored millionaire would buy for their personal videogame museum. I mean, there is no way that thing has more than 2 hours of lifetime on its battery, so it has to sit somewhere.

I just looked it up and, if I'm not mistaken, it's just a two-year warranty (as opposed to the one-year warranty for all other products). Seems awfully short for such a large price tag.

I wouldn't even get it for a 5 year warranty. Warranty is there so at least you'll get your money's worth when you get an item, use it, and when the warranty expires, you can say that the initial investment you made was worth it since you've used it up. $9000 for a laptop is serious investment, and I don't think that time is enough.

It's also a matter of respect towards your clients. Someone decided to spend 9000$ on one of your products, shouldn't they deserve to get a suitable treatment? Whatever additional cost you could charge for a prolonged warranty is surely already taken into account.
Plus, Acer would take quite the hit if someone who purchased it asked for support and got rejected because the warranty had already expired. It seems like an unreasonable risk to take.

Nine thousand dollars for a laptop, that's insane. I would prefer to set up a fair priced computer shop instead of paying that much money for a laptop. I play games on my laptop, however, my laptop is not specifically built for gaming. In have good graphics though, which makes me easier to play games without harming my computer The highest amount I have paid for a laptop is $800.

Half the price, then the other half is based on the idea of "owning" the world's most expensive laptop. Doesn't matter if it's the best one out there or it's just overhyped; the price tag speaks for itself if you show it to people that you own it.

That and the 21" curved display on a supposedly portable device. I'm not sure how much better it is to play games, but it's a sight to behold for sure.
I wonder how bored someone must be to drop thousands of dollars on a PC just to show off.

I haven't spent much on my gaming consoles, probably just under 500$ but that was when I was younger and buying some popular games for my old atomic green N64 like Super Mario and Mario Kart 64.

The last time I put some money for a console was for PS4, and that one was around $500, plus basic games and accessories,we can be talking for some hundreds more. Only FiFa game was around $50. But my cousins were super excited with that one, we couldn't help it.

If we're talking all the games and accessories that go along with it I'm certain I've spent several thousand on one console before. I had a Playstation 2, Xbox, a Gamecube, and a Gameboy Advance during that particular generation so...gods, it must have been over 5k I dropped through those years. I had a lot of fun with my Playstation 2 especially, so I had a pretty large library of games.

I don't have much money, to begin with so if I buy games, consoles and other accessories for gaming I usually look for sales and save money for them so I can buy things cheaper than the normal price. It's hard to say how much I've spent on gaming and I prefer not to think of it.
