How To Backup Steam Games?

Hi, from time to time I like to format my PC, mostly when it seems like it getting slow, and everytime I do that, I lose all the game data from my steam games, and I have to download them again, which takes a lot of time as my internet connection is very slow.

I'd like to know if there's a way to backup my steam games before formatting my PC so that it would be faster to recover the games and I don't have to download them again.

Have that ever happened to you?

I have never heard of a way because steam is a back in itself. Perhaps there is indeed a way but be careful when messing around with steam files. A friend of mine got permanently banned because of that. Whatever you do, know your stuff first.

You can enable steam cloud on your account for certain games which means those saves will always be on that account even if you uninstall the game.

I'm looking for a way to not to download all the game again. Will this help me?
[doublepost=1503085468,1503085183][/doublepost]I found a way that partially works. I used a tool called Easus Easy Transfer. It let me make a backup of all the steam program, including the downloaded games, but I had some issues with the sound later. I had to manually install some apps, like DirectX and vcredist to fix this. Perhaps it was a specific case for one game.

If you try this tool let me know how did it work for you.
