The judge who came up with the bizarre idea of forcing Apple to apologise on the front page of its web site after a court battle with Samsung went wrong has a new job, working for… Samsung.

According to research by patent law expert Florian Mueller, The Rt. Hon. Professor Sir Robin Jacob was one of the judges to rule in Samsung's favour in the original Samsung/Apple apology case. Jacob's name has now popped up as one of the patent experts quoted in Samsung's current battle with Ericsson over other new patent issues, which means he's now being paid by the tech giant he once ruled in favour of.

A slightly dodgy situation, but presumably one which, being a legal expert himself, doesn't actually break any rules.

Just goes to show that judges are corrupt also. politicians, cops, realtors and judges. the whole 9 yards are corrupt!

You say that like you actually know :p

Doesn't take a genius to know how corrupt the government can be sometimes.

So much so that it's going to take something extreme to reverse course.
