That's a good idea! Personally I disable Steam opening with my PC and remove the icon from my taskbar, so I'm not as tempted to just click on it and open a game while I'm supposed to be working on something else. For the most part it helps, and leaves me able to play games at night to kind of take a break from all the studying.I have lost so much time on gaming accidentally on so many occasions, which I later regretted.
One of the occasions was when I was supposed to study for an exam. Having gone through that, I've tried to minimize the rate at which I play game during exams by uninstalling some games from my PC
Wow! And those that work out for you?. To me, it does. It has really helped me to minimize the time I spent on gaming during my examsThat's a good idea! YES, gaming sometimes can mess things up, I know that pretty well hahahah, but I have found excersing every now and then to be really entertaining, especially going outdoors and just relax in the mountains, that´s the part I love of going out If you can maintain a equal level of going out and playing, everything is much betterYeah, most gamers just play unhealthy hours because there's nothing better in the real world. Once something happens like having friends or a job, gamers tend to choose real world of the gaming world since they can always go back to where they stopped if they ever want to. I don't mind long hours of games as long as players don't forget to eat or stretch their legs out after a marathon gaming run. It's a lot more healthy that way and it would help if you got enough sleep, but then again addiction in games can really mess that up.
haha Stop doing that, let him play and learn by himself, I believe by experience that mistakes done by oneself are better teachers than words. Family is always important, and they always have great lessons to teach, but it all depens on the way he takes suggestions. It´s just like that, he may have ears but that doesn´t mean he knows how to hear, if you have told him to try to stop a little bit gaming, and hasn´t payed attention to your words, then let him be.That's the important thing, buddy. I have tried and tried to take my brother out of the PC on many occasions without much success. As much as I love a good gaming session real life can't be lived in front of a computer yes? Still, i hope he doesn't have to learn from his mistakes like I did.
lmao as a student I always played first before studying to "get it out of my system". After I play a few hours and I'm not excited to play anymore, I'd study. I was one of those above average lazy students so it's not that hard to scan notes and remember a bit, as well as take the tests seriously by spending my time on it. I really think school is more about "answering tests properly" rather than "learning things for tests".Wow! And those that work out for you?. To me, it does. Wow! That's very brilliant of you, playing till you are satisfied before reading?. I heard playing games also increases someone's brain. I have that thing where I pass no matter what. It's like I get the same grade if I either over-study or I cram last minute. So I figure I'll just cram for tests and let stock knowledge handle it since I will have more time playing, instead of studying all night only to get an 80% mark anyway. It worked out pretty good and I even crammed and not studied for my licensing exams, and hey, I nearly got to 10th place nationwide for some reason. Trust the brain dude, it won't let you down!Wow! You must be a die hard fan of games
I wish I could be like you, so how I will have much time to play my games and also excel in my exams. As you stated, let me first start by trusting my brain, then others will follow.I have that thing where I pass no matter what. I am also into exercise but not as gaming. Gaming has been thing I spent most of my time on. I will try as much as I can to limit the time I usually spend on gamesYES, gaming sometimes can mess things up, I know that pretty well hahahah, but I have found excersing every now and then to be really entertaining, especially going outdoors and just relax in the mountains, that´s the part I love of going out If you can maintain a equal level of going out and playing, everything is much better
For me playing is still one of the things I love the most, but right now I have to do other things so I don´t spend too much time playing.
Same for me. It's easy to keep track of time when you are alone, you pay more attention and watch the clock carefully. But when you are with friends? We could play two days straight and I wouldn't even notice it.When I'm playing games on my own, it's very easy to keep track of time.Whenever I'm playing with my friends, you just never know how time flies.
