Minecraft Server

Since some people are saying they want one, I am thinking about hosting a mine craft server for the community out of my own wallet. I will put a poll up just to get a general idea of who is for this. Anyone experienced with mine craft staff and setting up a server please make yourself known so I can use you. If I do host a server, it will start off as vanilla survival until I either learn how to add plugins or assign someone to do so. Until that happens we are just playing vanilla minecraft.

I can help you out man. It's actually pretty easy to get a server that has Bukkit (Plugins). Depending on what host you are going to use, it may have an option to make it Bukkit.

I made a list on my other post for the server about plugins, some of them inside are core plugins such as Prefixs, set home, tpa, buy craft (Used for donations) and such...

Yea, I can help teach you how to place Plugins into the server and stuff, some hosts are kinda like Garrys mod where you place a link of a addon and it downloads... However it's always good to know how to do it manually..

There's only a few with Bukkit installed automatically, but even with a normal server, works like gmod, they give you FTP access and you can just put Bukkit onto the server.

I'll give a top 5 list:

1- Shock byte- Although doesn't do Bukkit automatically, it's fairly cheap and decent.

2- Wulf Hosting- Fairly cheap... Not sure about player count but it's the most reccomened server hoster, this one supports Bukkit so you can request.

3- MCPro Hosting- Expensive... But supports Bukkit and is good in quality.

Pretty sure Jordan used MCProhosting.

Don't worry about getting staff just yet, right now we need to focus on the actual server once the server is setup we will start recruiting staff
