I have been an avid fan of Need for speed I have played it on both PC and console as a matter of fact I have been playing it since Play Station 2 and roll date I still play NFS but recently I played drive club and I must say it's quite good I mean good enough to be compared to Need for speed, it's arcade like you get this feel you are in control. I play it solo most of the time because I haven't seen someone to play the multi-player version with.

I know Drive Club for PS4 and i must say, i loved that game. One of the promising games of PS4, but then my nostalgia struck harder. You see, NFS was my first racing game, along side Burnout, and i loved those games, where i could crash the cars, make a riot, and live to tell the tale. For what i can tell, i think both games are very good graphic wise and gameplay. I would just pick NFS because of the storyline and the memories.

How does Need for Speed and Drive Club differ? I've seen some footage and trailer when it was first announced but I have never personally tried to play it because it was quite expensive at the launch plus driving games aren't my first choice.

Regarding the Need for Speed games, I haven't really played any of the recent versions because they haven't amazed me with anything new since a long time. However, just based on the fact that I did enjoy playing Need for Speed 2 on my computer as a kid, I'd pick them. :)

Exactly Need for Speed has the best story mode ever especially with the introduction of their most wanted list it keeps you on the level because you would want to become the number one in the city, the cruise drive and records the police have of you, the garage for tune up. Simply awesome.

I never ended the last boss with an Audi R8 from NFS Carbon because of a bug, until today I feel the need to end that game xD As you said, simply awesome game, with such a good immersion.

NFS for life! It was the first racing series I have ever played..Starting with Underground.I remember cars from that game like Mazda Miata,Mitsubishi Eclipse or Peugeot 208.
My sister was playing together with me and she was pro at drag races, while I was expert at drift challenges.
Anyway, lot of fun in my childhood because of this game.I totally support EA in adding more racing games,as they rock at this category.

I never heard about Drive Club and I play more versions of need for speed.
I would vote for need for speed because it is more popular and an interesting racing game.

I'd choose Need for Speed over Drive Club. Drive Club as really long load times that happen really often. My Dad and I both think it's insane how much time you wait for stuff to load in that game.

There is no doubt that DriveClub is a pretty damn good game. The graphics are fantastic, the driving physics are great, and it's just an overall great racing game.

However, if I had to choose between the two, I would always go Need for Speed. NFS is a series that's been around since the early days. It's a series with highs and lows but a lot of the time you can look past the lows and still have fun. I love even the worst of the games, because NFS has a special something to it that separates it from other racing games.

I've always been a Need for speed fan since day one. Used to be hooked on Need for Speed High Stakes and ever since I've played nearly every game in the franchise. Never tried Drive Club so I can't say much about it.

The game which I like better would be Need for Speed, although I have a PS4 and I have played both games on it. The simple reason: Drive club is better in terms of gameplay and graphics. But when it comes to love, we all do remember our first love. That's the exact same case with NFS. Everyone started (or if not started then felt in love with) racing games due to NFS. It has every reason to be the better one between them. The story, the character build-up, the gameplay, and of course the cars itself. I still play NFS (the first instalment) sometimes simply because of nostalgia. It's awesome.

Need for speed will always have the sight upper hand for me because the soundtrack in the games were often really cool and allowed you to really get int the driving experience

I am a fan of Need for Speed games and the first racing game that I played on my PC was NFS. I still play Need for Speed Underground from time to time. Drive Club is a good one too but I still prefer NFS.

I have never played this game, in fact I did not know about this game until I bumped on this thread. I have played some racking games, and I really like racing games, I am sure I will like this game. I will try to find this game online.

I always liked Need for Speed, and when I think of racing games this is the one I think of first. I played Need for Speed Most Wanted some time ago and it was awesome to be running away from the cops and racing at the same time. I loved it, sadly I cannot play it anymore as I don't have a PC and currently what I use is a laptop and it's only for the work that I do. Maybe someday I will play it again.

I've always thought driving games were a bit repetitive. The same mechanics of starting with a terrible car, then earning points or currency to either upgrade your old car or completely buy a new one. The only thing different with the yearly racing games is graphics, which is the only selling point they have since it's been the same formula for the past decade or so now.

I played a lot of the need for speeds, I think I played pro street the most. Its probably more repetitive than I remember it but than again I played it like 6 years ago so back then that was like the pinnacle of gaming plus it was the first real racing game I played.

I agree with this.. I remember having to do the same thing in games, keep earning points to get new cars...
