Valve Arms Itself With (Mostly) Functional Portal Turret

Last week, Valve provided a little glimpse of its latest decoration. Hint: It wasn't a potted plant. How does a full-scale, animated Portal turret grab you? Yes, their offices are probably much cooler than yours.

You can see it in action in the unboxing uncrating video below. WETA thought of everything, from the turret's familiar sing-song voices to a sophisticated target-recognition system and mock gunfire. It's probably best that live ammunition isn't in the equation.
