Just to get to know other members a little better, what do you all do for a living?

I'm currently full time at university studying an applied computing degree, just finished my foundation degree and now about to start my masters degree in September. I'm also a part-time sales assistant in a Tesco Mobile phone shop. What about you guys?

That's awesome, good luck on your master's degree!

I graduated in December 2016 with a BA in communication, emphasis in electronic media. I was lucky and found a full time gig right out of school working in video and marketing for a small college near my town. So far it's been really nice. Solid 40 hours a week and an incredibly laid back environment.

And starting this summer, I'll be returning to start working on my master's in communication. I hope to someday teach audio/visual courses at a college level.

Thank you! That seems great man, sounds like you're really enjoying it. I'm wanting to head into web & cyber security as my main choice when I finish university, I've always got website development on the side which is good also, sort of like a back up and something that I enjoy in my spare time.

I am a bank employee for so many years now and I think this will be my job until I retire 5 years from now. If you would ask me, I am happy with my job although sometimes the pressure is too great that I get sick due to excessive stress. But in terms of compensation, I get a high salary although I seem not to have time for some other things anymore. And that's the price I pay for having a good job in the IT department of a big bank.

I'm a student still. I'm in year 11, so I'm almost done with high school. I want to go to university afterward and study economics, maybe get a job in some bank in the future. So yeah, there you go. A little bit of information about me.

Was a Food Service Employee for a National Park as a part time job while in High School (government cuts right before Obama got out of Office mean't I was laid off)

Now I will be a Full Time student about to enter University as freshmen to study for a BS in Aeronautical Science. My degree encompasses the mathematics of flight, physics of flight, meteorology, and computer technologies with flight. Since I want to be a pilot I will also be getting up to my Commercial pilot license with a Instructor rating.

Hopefully I can snag a job working as on campus security or in some sort of Food Service on the campus to help pay for expenses since I am only on half scholarship.

Well, I currently haven't started working, but I start my first official paying job July 3rd. I'll be working in a drug store as a cashier and stuff like that.

But for non-paying "Jobs", I am an EMT and Firefighter in my town, which I will recommend to absolutely anyone interested in public service/medicine/fire services. Joining both of those services has been the best decision in my 17 years of life XD.

I plan on going to college to get my BSN and try to get a Nursing job that deals with Trauma/Critical Care as that's what I find to be the most exciting.

In New Jersey, the youngest you can be for both is 16 which is when I started EMS(On my 16th Birthday). I started Fire this year in April so I was still 16.
The age limit may be different for each state, and each agency has its own set of rules.
The other thing is that you still have to be 18 to do certain things in each service(Go on calls past 11 at night for EMS for one, and being able to use Power Tools in Fire).

But other than that, I can do quite a bit in EMS since i'm an EMT even though I'm still so young. I have yet to go through Firefighter I so there is not tooo much I can do Fire side, but I still can go and respond to calls and do some scene support stuff.

Wooo! Another medically trained member!
Any tips for an aspiring Nurse?

Being a nurse is easy... Dont force yourself memorizing everything. My style was, Im gonna learn all the procedures by heart. Focus on one disease at a time, up until i can say i have an idea about what to do abd what to expect. And always talk tobyour patient. Rapport is annoying but it can help a lot. Rockroll

It is a wonderful job as manager.I have to handle different departments from accounts,Data entry, computer assistant, site manager to providing raw materials to the mills through different suppliers and dispatching finished products to different parties those demand it.I also have to handle transportation e.g. trucks, pickups to load our produce to different regions and companies. It sometimes become hectic and time consuming.
