I don't watch a lot of anime but from what I currently watch it would have to be Kenichi. It's about a young boy that gets bullied and finally decides to join a dojo and learn how to fight with trainers that implement very weird techniques which in the beginning he doubts but later realizes that it helped him more than he thought.
