Yeah, wireless mouses have come a long way now. Back then they were perceived only for casual stuff like work. Didn't know they will have an appeal in the gaming industry. The "no tangled wires while playing" surely helps their case. No, these newer gaming mouses that are wireless don't use batteries anymore. You charge them up with USB cable - so if you'd suddenly run low on power (you can even easily check by a press of a button), you simply plug the USB cable in and keep playing normally. Gaming wireless mice are becoming a bit popular now, especially in the League of Legends competitive scene... some pros have already switched over.
There is literally no lag, no delay, no issues. It is like playing with a wired mouse minus the annoying cable that drags your mouse. I'd recommend you try it some day
Yep! I even used wireless mouse back when they were still mainly powered by batteries... those were much, much worse. On a few occasions the batteries ran out completely randomly and I was stuck afking during important in-game moments. It was annoying as hell and I even temporarily switched to a cable mouse. But now that they've come such a long way, you will honestly hardly notice any major differencesYeah, wireless mouses have come a long way now. wow, my friend also had one of those wireless mouse that is run by batteries, there were times where it would completely just die on him as if the battery was drained. Then 30 minutes later it'll work again like nothing happened.Yep! I even used wireless mouse back when they were still mainly powered by batteries... those were much, much worse. You will notice huge gains if you upgrade to a more precise Gaming mouse, especially if you play any Fps games. On the other hand I know you can get by with "basic" mouse gaming as well having used a $5 batterie driven mini mouse for several months .Lol I use a Lenovo office mouse that I got for free. I also have a basic Logitech wireless mouse for my laptop if I need it. I've never seen the need to get a really expensive gaming mouse. My criteria for a mouse include: Left Click? Right Click? Scroll? All right we're set!
I am irritated when my friend's wireless mouse fails when we play Dota 2. In an important team fight, his hero will suddenly AFK due to his mouse issues. After that, he switched to a Deathadder and we had no issues since then. Wired mice over wireless mice for me when it comes to games.wow, my friend also had one of those wireless mouse that is run by batteries, there were times where it would completely just die on him as if the battery was drained. He is still using this mouse up to this day. I don't know how he can manage to play with such a faulty mouse and he plays online shooters too, so I don't know how he's not annoyed by his mouse failing randomly during matches.
I guess if you are playing mechanically intensive games, you might need that kind of mouse. But, I play games that require good mouse but I still play decently so I guess it is not that important.I use a Razor Naga mouse, which I enjoy. But I don't need that .001 microsecond demand that I hear people swearing by. To me its like the entire 120-240hz monitors. I can't see the difference between the two and I am pretty certain that most people can't. I heard a friend talk about how there's only a small percentage of the population that can in fact see it, but I don't know how true that is as I've never looked it up.
