I'm just curious really, I'm a Customer Consultant @ Carphone Warehouse so it's always interesting hearing what mobile's people have and use as their daily.

I'm currently using an iPhone 7 Plus on the Network EE in the UK, brilliant phone can't fault much, battery incredible, camera too, love the secondary camera definitely for the zooming in and out when recording and taking a photo. However, I am very interested into the Samsung S8/S8+ so if you guys have it, let me know and tell me what it's like. I've played around with it at work, but can't do too much.

Currently, I'm also with Apple (iPhone 6 plus). I've never been into keeping up with the latest released mobile devices. Generally, I tend to stick a generation or two behind. So when a new model is released, the device under it substantially goes down in price.

On a side note regarding the Samsung S8/S8+, I'm personally not a fan. I left Samsung (Android in general) when the iPhone 5 came out. Haven't looked back since! I think it's a good competitor but nothing compares to iPhone series. Especially the 7 Plus!

Just my opinion.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Spec wise it's good for playing heavy duty games without lag but the battery life can sometime be an issue but not if the batteries brand new.

I'm using Samsung Galaxy S7. I got it pretty cheap as part of my contract deal with the phone's company. I've been considering upgrading to S8 but I am not sure if it is worth it because of the high the price. My S7 is still in perfect working conditions and it is amazing but S8 seems even better. I don't know whether I should wait a bit longer so the price drops or just go for it. Tough decisions.

My first smart phone is a Samsung SIII. And when it couldn't charge by itself anymore, I bought anothe Samsung which is J7. In terms of operation, I can say that Samsung is a good brand although I would choose the iPhone hands down any time of the day. However, the iPhone is so expensive that's why I cannot say if I can afford it in the future. And as long as the cheap android phone remains competitive with the functions then it's android for me.

About a year ago I made the switch to iPhone and I don't regret it at all. I've got iPhone S6, and it works like a charm. The Android phones I used before the iPhone would get bogged down, and several of the quit working after less than year, meaning I had to go in, send my phone back and get a replacement which was a huge pain.

My iPhone still runs like the first day I got it, which I really appreciate about the brand. I've always been of the mindset that Apple products are overpriced (which I do think they are), but I'm also pretty convinced the life expectancy of their products are greater than the average brand, so it may have some payoff.

I own a Samsung and iPhone. I think they are both great devices but I prefer the iPhone because I am a lot more familiar with it compared to my Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S5 is my phone. A bit dated now, but still does the job justice. Games still run fine and In watch a lot of videos on my phone as well. It might be time for an upgrade, so any recommendations?

Samsung Note 3. I bought a secondhand version. I haven't found any problems with it, except its camera quality decreases drastically in evening or indoors. Its battery lasts for around 6-7 hours if I use it continuously - not games - which is quite good.
It is quite old now since samsung note 8 is already in its way to market. But it satisfied all my current needs, so I won't be changing it anytime soon.

I'm using an iPhone 5S and I'm absolutely satisfied with it. I never had a problem, it runs smoothly and the battery lasts for a day even if I'm playing mobile games on it! Plus from my girly viewpoint this is such a good looking phone. Even touching it feels amazing. Not to mention that the IOS system is heavenly after I used Android for 2 years.

I am not so sure about the model of my phone, but I have a LG Android phone. Firstly, it was given to me for free (my mother gave it) so I have no problems about that. I am always open to free things, haha. Performance wise, it blew my mind. Not only can it play most games with no FPS problems, but it is extremely fast. I also love the slimness of the phone.

Got me an iPhone 6. Hoping to upgrade to the 7+ or 6S+ when I can afford it. I've always loved Apple devices simply because they suit my needs and excel at everything I need them to do. And when it comes to iOS, I love the clean, consistent and smooth UI. Obviously build wise iPhones are great too, durable, clean, thin and light with a great camera and display. But I feel like even 4.7 inches is not the best for the bit of mobile gaming and media consumption that I do, hence my reasoning in buying the bigger, 5.5 inch models.

I have an iPhone 6s Plus in rose gold with a 5.5-in touchscreen. It is my first iPhone that I've at any point purchased. Samsung Android Phones was the main brand of phones that I got at a certain point. Well it's been about year since I have my iPhone, and I can really say it's worth it. However, I favor Samsung Android Phones over iPhones anytime!

I have an iPhone 5C with 5GB of internal storage. I pretty much can only have one or two games on my phone at a time. I'm hoping I'll be eligible for an upgrade sometime soon.

I have Samsung Galaxy S6 and I don't think I will change it anytime soon. There isn't really any real reason to switch to S7 or S8 because it's almost impossible to notice speed differences between the phones.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and no, it hasn’t blown up in my face so I’m fine with it. It is extremely good in my opinion with its extremely long battery life and decent performance which is why I don’t plan on changing my phone in the next 3 or 4 years as its new and I am satisfied with it. I don’t use it for much so I don’t think it’ll die very soon either. So it is a great phone and don’t plan on getting an Apple phone as they don’t seem very good.
