Where do you buy games?

Where do you buy your games? Steam, origin, amazon, in-store, etc?

Personally, I buy all my games online. GameStop just doesn't make it worth going into the store to purchase

As for me, it depends on whoever has the best deals. I rarely go to Gamestop anymore. I usually end up going to Best Buy to buy games when they go on sale. What's great is the price match Amazon if the game I'm looking for is on sale online. Sometimes I just order straight from Amazon because we subscribe to Amazon Prime. (Sometimes I feel lazy and don't feel like driving out to Best Buy). lol Occasionally I will get lucky and score a game on eBay through an auction but I usually buy my Blu-Ray movies from there.

Ah yes! Prime is so great for that! I have the trial right now, but I don't think I will continue it. And best buy does have some deals sometimes

I really don't discriminate between stores. Whichever site has the best deal is where I go. Here lately I've been trying to avoid steam though.

I don't like the fact that Steam pretty much runs the PC games market. Decided that I'd support other companies like GOG just so there is some competition. Plus, a lot of places have comparable deals to Steam.

Hm, interesting way of looking at it. For me, I like the fact that a lot of games are on steam. Simply for the fact that I like having everything in one place. I don't really like jumping around sites or platforms to play all of my games

Completely understandable. Do you. I just like a good deal and like supporting multiple companies. You like havin' you games in one place. No big deal. Do you brotha. At the end of the day, we're both still gamin'.

I use to buy my games always in the physical stores. Now, I always get them online.
Most games I have are either on steam, or via the xbox store

Not all big companies have to be bad companies. Over the Last 11 years or more, I have yet to see one negative thing from Steam or the Valve corporation. Now you can even return games if you don't end up liking it or it doesn't run on your PC!

I typically buy games on eBay. However, I have a few in my collection that come from Amazon or were purchased in store. I typically stay away from games sold at garage sales or in second-hand stores. It's too difficult to ensure the quality of those games. I've had poor experiences in the past.

Steam or humble bundle for me. Sometimes I buy keys from nuuvem(*Brazillian website), but it's still on rare occasions.

I buy majority of my games from CDKeys.com. They offer significantly lower prices than Steam, which is awesome because Steam is usually full of deals.The best part of the website is that it's completely legitimate. I bought the new Mad Max game for more than 50% off when it was first released.

Steam. I used to buy from (real life) game stores, but as mentioned above, Steam is full of deals, so that's a deal breaker right there Besides, half of the games I purchased from game stores are now broken. There's a broken case, scratched CD, ripped cover.. moving houses have left most of them in a tragic condition. I'm still upset about it today. You don't even know the amount of frustration I feel every time I try to install from one of the CDs and it doesn't work.

Sure, not all companies are bad. Still, Steam having a monopoly on the market isn't a good thing.
