Why do you actually enjoy gaming?

To escape from the cruel reality I live in. In all seriousness whenever my mind is way to stressed out and filled with thoughts a nice gaming sessions helps me cool down. It makes me feel a lot better and more relaxed after a good gaming session.

After a crappy day at school/work, it's nice to just jump into a wormhole where you end up in another universe that you can do whatever you want. It's pretty relaxing that way, huh? I remember rushing home back in elementary school to play Diablo 2, Red Alert 2, and Warcraft 3 until dinner started. Pretty fun times. Almost makes up for not having the money to actually go out and socialize with people but hey, can't pick em, right?

It's relaxing, it's an escape from the real world and all its troubles, and it's a good way to feel like I'm achieving something. It's easy to feel rewarded with games, and it's up to you to decide how much effort you have to put in it to achieve said feeling.
I just like to dig into the universes the developers create, follow and live the story myself and make the most out of it. With the right games and the right mentality, it can be like watching a movie or even reading a book.

Forums and sites are okay, but actual communities of the game (especially when it's online) can be rather toxic, and it really ruins the experience of the game. Lots of stuff can ruin a game, like a person flaming everyone, a person rage quitting, a person disconnecting with no warning during a ranked match; all these can happen and will happen when you join an online game, so you better be ready for it.

It never happened with me either I play with my friends at their homes or online. Obviously, there will be some competition amongst us but only in the game. I even know a lot of gamers who are very competitive and also annoying but honestly that is the part of the gaming world.

For me, a computer game is like any social game where I play with someone. Interactive games are exciting mainly because of the opponent who is on the other line. Playing a game helps me forget the worries especially the tension in the job. But I also play game apps once in a while. Would you believe that I still play Candy Crush? It is handy and although it is not an interactive game, I enjoy playing against the program and I'd say it is also a stress reliever for me.

Yes , you are right. I feel exactly same as you. Gaming is means for interacting with others while enjoying at the same time. The enjoyment increases many fold when we play with an opponent. Playing games helps to get rid of job worries we get I our day to day life. Now we also play games on our smartphone because it always with us all the time. About Candy Crush not only you many play it even now. I really enjoy playing games. It helps me to forget my present circumstances.
