What mobile games do you play?

I've tried that before, it's a great game! Alternatively you could also download a playstation/nintendo emulator to play all those classics in their unaltered glory.

    Opinions on Steam

I think it's pretty widely known by now that Steam had some major problems on Christmas day. Many people had their account details and credit card info compromised due to a server error, with players logging in to other people's accounts instead of their own and being able to see all their...

    Worst Game Ever Played?

Planetary Annihilation for me. It was hyped as a revolutionary RTS game in the kickstarter, but the end product left many backers high and dry with many promised features being omitted. It's the standout example why I don't recommend backing games in beta or early access.

Were you ever in Silver? How long did it take you to get out?

I started in Silver, currently am Gold Nova 4. My aim and reflexes just isn't up to scratch against younger, better players.

    Steambox

It's a bit too pricey for my liking. I already own a decent PC rig, I'm much rather spend ~$100 on a Steam Link and a Steam Controller, link it to my PC and start playing. It's literally the same gaming experience without having to splurge on a Steam box/Steam Machine.

    Favorite PC Game ?

For PC exclusive games, I'm hard pressed between the MOBA DotA 2 or the FPS Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

    PS2 Favorite PS2 Game?

I'd have to go with the Metal Gear series. Solid Snake was fantastic, in my opinion with almost as much depth, storyline and game design as MGSV: The Phantom Pain despite being almost a decade apart.

    Favorite Casual Mobile Games

I've recently been really addicted to Neko Atsume https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.hit_point.nekoatsume&hl=en It's fundamentally a pretty pointless game where you "collect cats", by laying out toys and treats for them to attract feline visitors. It has a really good...

    Suggestion Andriod gaming

I think you could post under https://www.gamerebels.com/forums/mobile/ with no distinction between iOS or Android. That said, I think it would be awesome if the Rebellion shop offered iTunes / Google Wallet cards as well.

    COD or CSGO?

I think it's just the nature of more "competitive" games versus more "casual" games. The same scenario is mirrored between DotA players and LoL players, LoL players and HotS players, Magic players and Hearthstone players... Everyone likes to think their skill in a more complex game somehow...

The Humble Square Enix Bundle 3 is live!

I'd say buy the one dollar tier now, so you can lock in the second tier price. It's likely to go up if the mystery games are revealed to be good.

    COD or CSGO?

CS:GO is definitely the better game if you are a competitive kind of person. There is much more depth to the game, with a high skill ceiling when it comes to things like footwork, positioning, grenade work and teamplay. It's much less run-and-gun than CoD.

Team Fortress 2: The Gun Mettle Update aka CS:GO skins incoming

I'm also really impressed by Overwatch, but now that they've announced it being a paid game I'm less hyped for it. Especially when it comes to multiplayer games, a free-to-play model like TF2 and Warframe really works best, , lest the playerbase might be too small for it too be sustainable in...

    Arc Warden is out!

With a week since 6.86 and Arc Warden was ported into DotA 2, what are your thoughts of the hero? He's currently sitting at one of the lowest winrates (http://www.dotabuff.com/heroes/arc-warden , a measly 38%), but I've seen some games where he really crushes the enemy, like in the video below...

The Humble Square Enix Bundle 3 is live!

https://www.humblebundle.com/ Many great games in there. The one-dollar tier is a steal with Life is Strange (only episode 1 though) and The Last Remnant. The BTA tier includes a subscription to the FFXIV MMO as well. I think it's a really great Christmas present from Square Enix to fans of...

    So tired of cheaters

And the sad fact is that with the Winter Sale pricing CS:GO at 50% off, there's going to be a huge influx of cheaters. Hope the VAC system improves and bans them quickly...

    Winter Update 2015

I'd prefer more specific tweaks to pistols rather than a blanket nerf. The Tec-9 definitely deserved the running accuracy nerf, but the glock and p2000 are already really poor in terms of accuracy and damage. Anyway as someone who hated the rifle nerfs as well I'm really happy that they...

    What's Your Favorite Netflix Series?

Daredevil seems like a pretty nice up-and-coming title, definitely worth a try. And of course Breaking Bad is literally a classic at this point.

    Anyone getting the Playstation TV?

PC master race~ Seriously though unless you only own a PS4 (and if you do you should seriously start considering other alternatives) this is quite a waste of money. I might be biased here but I'd say assembling your own Steam Machine with a normal TV might give better value for money, and much...

    Counter-Strike Update - March 31st 2015

I think that Valve wants to make the AWP more of a defensive weapon than something you use for entry pickoffs. Personally I'm ok with that change. I'm not happy that the Tec-9 remains overpowered though, it's almost as powerful as a rifle despite its $500 price tag. M4A1-S nerf was unwarranted...
