I'd much rather pay money for a full game than play a freemium game, having to fork out money to unlock more content or to have more "energy" to progress faster. It's a silly gimmick that makes the game fun at the start but when you're forced to pay or to wait for a long time to make progress...
I think it would be a really great game so long as they do not succumb to the trend of cash shops and pay-to-win that is plaguing so many MMOs, especially Korean ones, nowadays.
It's sort of like Minecraft in some ways since you can literally mod anything you want into the game with enough dedication. Also there's the multiplayer element to spice things up. The only thing stopping you in this game is your imagination!
I know that it's really hard to garner viewers for Twitch streams, best of luck OP. If you're just doing it casually I would recommend Steam Broadcasting instead, it requires very little preparation on your part and your Steam friends can readily watch your game at any time.
The date has been announced: 3rd August to 8th August at KeyArena, Seattle. Seeing how last year's prizepool hit 5 million I'm pretty stoked to see what the numbers will be this year. Tickets are already sold out, sadly.
I've played it twice, like many other games with a good story (e.g. Bioshock Infinite) I think it's a great way to catch up on any elements you might have missed out on. I might go on a third playthrough once I get through my backlog of games.
It would take you...
4663 continuous hours
194 days,7 hours,53 minutes
of gameplay to complete your Steam library
IN THIS TIME YOU COULD...
Read the Bible cover to cover 74 times
Yeah but it's a really small number compared to the many other FPS games out there like CoD, Battlefield and Destiny. I'm surprised the playerbase declined so quickly.
Anyone who owns Bioshock Infinite or previously participated in the Evolve Alpha should have access to the beta now. Lots of keys are also being circulated around by the dev, if I get any spares I'll try to post them here :P
Has anyone tried it so far? It's a pretty interesting game but I...
Sure the release date has been pushed back to March, but preordering now gives you some pretty nifty in-game bonuses and a copy of GTA San Andreas. :D

Well after the qualifiers it seems like the finals will be dominated by Chinese teams. EG, Secret, Cloud9 and HellRaisers are the only Western teams to be invited among the 16.

So, an update containing little more than new weapon skins. Still, it's a pretty big part of the game, just like the hat economy of TF2. What do you think of the new weapons, and the many knives in particular? Case prices are pretty insane...
It's hard to choose between GTA III and IV, both of them are really awesome games. I think that they really brought open world games to the next level. I haven't played GTA V yet though, from all the rave reviews I've heard I'm certain it will be one of my favorite PC games.
As a fan of phone TCGs I'm largely playing Hearthstone and Shadow Era now. The Goblins vs Gnomes update for Hearthstone has introduced lots of new content (and grinding hehe)
I like to browse the Steam Workshop for custom hero skins/weapon designs for DotA 2, TF2 and CS:GO. There's plenty of great content out there, and workshop artists lucky enough to have their designs accepted for the game do make a decent amount of money.
I did make a CS:GO skin largely for fun...
I think it was in response to a prank that was played on him, I agree it was a bit of an overreaction but I don't think he knew that the camera was live. In any case he apologised and things are cool between the players.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
Ys Origin
Winged Sakura: Mindy's Arc
Prototype 2
Need For Speed Hot Pursuit
off the top of my head. I've actually spent a little less this sale compared to the past few :p
Well COD has been progressively futuristic, but I don't think that we'll venture into an era of space warfare, plasma rifles and laser shields. There're already plenty of futuristic FPS games in that genre like Warframe, Destiny and Halo. I think that a throwback to WW2 would be pretty cool...
A move to FTP would almost certainly spell microtransactions, how else would they make money? The closest and least damaging model I could think of would be like Wildstar or Runescape, where you can buy ingame premium game time for either virtual currency or real money.
