    Difficulty or Fun?

Fun-I am a casual player and just want to relax or vent by games. So I lurk the Free To Play tag and try as many as I can to find what I like. Only in grindy games, like KRITIKA I just started, has a not-so-difficult "insane" mode. I play for fun and the giggles.

What are the Advantages of Video and Computer Games?

I started playing when I was young, and learned a little about (short term) saving, but more so about teamwork, multi-tasking, humilty, and persistence.

    Last Game Played?

I just played TERA once the 4 day download finished from Steam (shoulda used the torrent; since launching from steam doesn't work). I'm only an hour in, and will be playing the support classes of Priest and Mystic. Only irk is the flaunting of cleavage...so I picked the earth looking class. On...

    Your Rig

I have an early i5 with 8 GB of non-ecc ram, a 4gb 1050 ti, all housed in a Dell Optiplex 980. I got it used and just added ram and the 1050. I just installed that part, and finally enjoying high settings for the first time. Goodbye intergrated intel hd 2000 and 3000!

How many gaming consoles do you have?

I have had a whopping zero, growing up in the PC Master Rave. Gool ol Windows XP was my jam! My family couldn't afford consoles anyway so I would enjoy the glimpses of others playing on them or on the new phone crazy then.

    Last Game Played?

I am always playing the Sassy WiFi Connection game. It never sleeps or takes breaks. Even when it disconnects, it tries to load another. Not without kicking me out of a game however.

    Leaving a game?

Same I find it hard to leave games since they generally can't be paused. it seems that distractions appear only in the heat of the team games I play such as SMITE, Paladins, or RIFT. I have a hard time discerning time when playing, however, so "one more round" may become more! Usually, I am...

Moments in games where you just want to smash the controller

I've shied away to healing and being a support to avoid that confrontation. I loved playing C'hange, just dancing around tossing heals! STRIIIIIKE!

How to record gameplay for Battlefield?

If you have Windows 10, press the Windows key and G (or the middle button of an Xbox controller) at the same time. A small menu will appear, allowing you to record, take screenshots, or record a short clip. This uses the Xbox app (no console required) and can be used to record any program on...

Give me reason to play Rift.

Wow, they're getting desperate for (paying) players. I did throw a large bit of money at them back in high school, but by the time that expansion was announced, I was getting tired of the grind. Loved healing and soloing as a mage, but got lost in the 60+ grind. Edit: But since I upgraded my...

    Favorite music from which game?

I don't recall all the well composed soundtrack I have ingested, but I loved the music of Transistor by SuperGiant Games, and of the Free To Play college project of Eternal Senia. I'm a sucker for a good bass line, but also strings. I enjoyed playing the alto section of the violas for 5 years...

    When Gaming becomes an addiction

I'd have to disagree with recent news and my experience. Blue light, which is emitted from all these gadgets are known to negatively affect eyesight and disrupt sleep, which affects focus and mood. Personally, gaming was an escape as the only kid in the house with middle-aged parents. I had to...

Desktop or Laptop, which one is better for games?

The change from a 15 inch laptop screen to 22 monitor was astounding. I had more options in resolution, and so far haven't had to rely on the Borderless Gaming program to resize games in hope of an FPS boost. I don't have to worry about the heat the laptop, which after 3 years requires a...

Twitch vs YouTube | Which do you Prefer?

YouTube. Twitch has too much meme spam in the corner for me to enjoy the broadcast entirely. Besides that don't enjoy the slow interface; takes too long to watch and find another game. it's mibile app is cluttered and has lower qualify than on a desktop. Meanwhile YouTube is more spaced out...
