Do you rather play alone? Or with friends?

Most of my friends don't even game, much less have a preference of the many around. I recently met with a few gamers at my school but after years of solo play, I cant enjoy thier slap-stick rpgs. I prefer games with strategy, story and yes humor. :/

    How many hours?

I tend to play 3 hours a day, but lately have not played much this past month. Once I get settled with a drink, perferably coffee, and the q settled, I'll be playing and playing until I need a coffee drink or I get yankef away!

    Wireless accessories

I like wireless peripherals, especially Logitech's which reduces the number of dongles/adapters needed. I have a mouse and keyboard using the same one. I also have a generic Xbox controller that just needs to be plugged in to play with batteries. Wireless is handy for my cramped space; no need...

How do you choose your games?

I also lurk in the Free to Play area to find out what genres I like, but then narrow the list by trial and error if them can actually run smoothly on my potato. I learned the hard way that chasing sales without noting the specs recommended is not great.

    Gaming Screen Resolution

Same here. I generally use whatever gets me 30FPS, windowed or not. I use Borderless Gaming form Steam to make custom ones if needed to simplify editing the config files. It's good for any program as well, helpful for drawing in Medibang Paint Pro.

    Soundtracks

Music should only add to the game, especially for those without hearing. When it is implemented, it can give the listener chills or pump them up for the next boss fight or whammy them for a comedic line. I played a bit of orchestra in high school, and was glad to know that music, particularly...

Where do you purchase your hardware?

I'm not so lucky yo have tech stores with reasonable prices nearby, so I take to eBay and Amazon. I don't like bidding after my first few tries had me worried. Thankfully I regularly get gift cards from online earning in Amazon and PayPal, and just search, research, and lurk for deals on those...

    Video Card

I have a business laptop with integrated "intel" hd" 3000 graphics, and struggled a bit to play games with the lil box heating up under my hands. I got a Cooler Master fan to use it on, than thankfully I haven't experience that heat again. I managed to invest in a used Opitplex 980, and have...

    Video Card

My clunky but faithful Lenovo b50 touch gets alarmingly hot without a cooling fan beneath it. Since I accidentally spilled juice on the keyboard a years ago, I've been more attentive to trying to dust the inside. Not sure how much life is left in it for at least two more years of college, if...

    Why is Gamerebels?

I bet it's a Star Wars reference. Game Rebels has a forum section and servers dedicated to it. The media area sports it too. https://www.gamerebels.com/#our-servers.30 https://www.gamerebels.com/media/

What is the difference between origin and battle.net?

Origin is like Steam, a library of games. They have cloud storage so you can replay games you uninstalled. You should still need to use Battle Net credentials as the game is by Blizzard. It's basically another launcher for the same game. If you have problems with your internet or slow speeds...

    Gaming Chairs

How did I not try a pillow? I guess I've been in the gaming zone aka tunnel vision for a bit too long lol.

    Gaming Chairs

Same, I don't have much, but try to keep some beermoney to invest in the powerhouse. Managed to get a sweet gpu on sale, so I won't be spending for a good while this summer. Just snag any nearby chair/sturdy thing to enjoy it right?

    Gaming Chairs

I've never understood the fancy needs, prefering to spend on games and hardware when needed. The only cushion I have is one small mouse pad thing which I lost in a fps rage. Even then, I move around too much to keep using it. If I had to change one thing in my gaming space, it would be a wider...

    Players

Just a lil casual(ty) here, a poorly aimed Archer, I mean Snipa, W+M1 Pyro, and jumping Solly. I spent most of my time in the Mann vs. Machine zones, getting better with the advice (and complaints) of my team. MvM was much more laid back than the screamfest of regular play. After finally getting...

    Why do you buy hats?

I used to buy hats to look great taunting or on the kill-cam. Sadly, my aim was horrible and my specs worse, so I didn't get to enjoy the second. You'd feel accomplished with your progress if there was a Killstreak effect on it, almost like a good luck charm. You'd always find something that...

    Unusuals

I tossed all by TF2 gear on the market last summer sale. I remember holding on a Be-Mo looking vest for Engi for a good while, till it too entered the recycle Valve. I never tried crafting with so many gears available from grinding, idling, achievements, and of course, the Steam Marketplace.

    Team Fortress 3 ever happening?

It's been three years since the OP asked, and Valve still can't count to three. Jumping on the nay-wagon, we're likely to not see a TF3 with the hype and active player base of TF2. Especially since it generates a lot of money from the many cosmetics and Mann v Machine, gets recycled through the...

    Opinions on Steam

Steam saves my problem of running out of disk space by having a cloud library. This helps when clearing space, so I don't need to wonder "where did I download or torrent this again?" Very handy as an engineering student, where I need all the space SolidWorks wants to hog up! It does have...
