Do you like sharing your games?

I love sharing my stuff. That's the only way to be social these days. You can find that some of the time people come to my place. And I do share my games and stuff with them. That being said, I have also used stuff of others like old consoles and new consoles. And I think I am glad to be in such good company.

I love sharing games with my friends, but only the copies as in the portable games. I'd share it with them and they'll copy the game through their own flashdisks. Especially when I totally love the game and am totally addicted to the game. It feels great being a trendsetter, at least for me :relaxed:.

I think that it is good to share some games, you can play new games and enjoy them while your friends enjoy your games, but it can not be shared to people who are strangers, I only share my games with my closest friends.

I particulary don't mind sharing games (if i have finished them of course haha) or other media with friends and people i trust. Actually it makes me very happy to know that a friend of mine, will enjoy the same things i did. Still im very mistrusting of people i hardly met or that im not well aquainted.

Well, it's not as common to have physical copies anymore, so sadly sharing games isn't as easy as it was before.
The only physical copies I own are my 3DS games and even then it's troublesome to lend them away since I'd probably want to play the games I don't have (๑•﹏•)
Back during PS1 times though, those were the days where you could play twice as many games while sharing. Good times.

Nah, because I mostly do digital downloads anyway. But honestly it depends on the friend and the circumstances.
Still though, I've had "friends" ask me to let them set my xbox as their home xbox so they can get ALL my games. At that point it's like, nah, I work hard to pay for all my games... you can too. That's just straight up leeching and trying to take advantage of someone.

I'll play games with people (who aren't annoying), rather through using two controllers or online multiplayer. But lending them my copy of a game, or giving someone else a turn on a one-player game? Naaaaah.

I would not mind sharing games as that would save a lot of money in the long run. For single player games I could borrow or lend games that my friends have finished and would not mind to lend it out for a month or two.

I only share games that I don't play anymore, I don't share games that I still play, because my friends don't return the games that I lend them. Learned that lesson the hard way.

Sharing becomes a nightmare if we share the things with a wrong person. Whenever I share any game I always make it a point that I always share them with only the person who values my game same as I do.

I am particularly jealous of my games and take good care of them. I do not usually lend them to other people, except to my friends in which I'm sure they will take good care of my games.
Usually I usually lend on occasions where I can borrow some other interesting game. Otherwise, I'd rather not lend them.

I do not like to share my games. I had the bad experience of people not returning my games to me or lending my games to others without informing me or when they return the game I can no longer play it as the CD is damaged.

Yeah and if you lend physical copies of games, you won't know if the person would take care of your discs. I let a relative borrow a PS2 disc once and I found it face down in a table, away from the case, and the disc had a lot of scratches already. So after that I stopped letting other people use the games I own. I have a sort of an OCD on my belongings, so having someone mess with them is a big no no.

This is certainly one of my biggest concerns when I decide to lend one of my games to someone. When I decide to lend... I only lend to my best friends, but even so I always like to reinforce the care they should take with them. They think me kind of paranoid, but I don't care... I want all my games safe and sound. :smile:

It's really frustrating to see your disc get scratched after they return it to you. In the world of physical copies, once that copy degrades or is damaged, you'll have to buy the game all over again. That's why I like Steam; no physical copy, no borrowers, it's yours forever and you don't have to pay for damages and replacements ever again.

I unfortunately have had these displeasures a few times in my life (and the feeling is horrible because you can't do anything to try and fix it at that moment), but they were enough to keep me alert. Nowadays, if I lend and the disk comes back scratched... I only accept a new one (and I'm quite categorical about it).

"I only accept a new one" lmao, like that will ever happen though. Cheap bastards who borrow games wouldn't replace it with a new one because those who would buy games are not the type who would borrow someone else's, and mishandle them even. If I tried that "new one" business, nobody would ever return games to me again. I got a trade once from my relatives' game collection after they damaged a disc, but that was just one time to avoid any conflict and to continue the trade with family members.

I'm only possessive of my games if I'm still not finished going through it. Once I'm done with it, I don't mind sharing it with my friends or relatives. I remember my first Pokemon game was borrowed from my friend, I'm always grateful for that.
