how you do dis?

We got our internet upgraded amd got a discount for being a "loyal customer" or some *****.
UK ISPs seem a lot nicer ( or atleast mine does ) compared to American ones :D

Best package my isp offers is 10.00Mbs -_-
Can you not get any other ISP in your area?

not much is offered around here, i mean we are paying $50 a month.. is that good for only 10mbs?
I've no idea how it is in US.
But we're paying roughly the equivalent of $40 for up to 76 down, up to 19 up. All unlimited. And we have the usual landline thing and we have a TV package with it aswell. Not that that is relevant.

:\ oh my, looks like my house hold is paying a bit to much.. how does this sound? "$34.99 per month for 12 months, download speeds up to 50 Mbps and upload speeds up to 10 Mbps."

Most UK ISPs are turning shit, throttling speed during peak times. Monitoring your activities thanks to Mr. Cameron.

I've never experienced throttling myself. I hear it's more common on ISPs such as EE.

EE have a no monitoring policy and only throttle P2P traffic.

TalkTalk however, well, I wouldn't even visit pornhub on that ISP... they be watching.

And talk talk had some thing with monitoring in '10 idk if it's stopped. I've been 'all over the internet' with no issues ;)
I believe it's only openly monitored if you use their "home safe" software.

No, they can view everything you do with the same methods they throttle traffic.

TalkTalk are one of the few ISPs that agreed to filter porn first (which is an opt in thing yes) but just shows as retarded they are.

MONITOR ALL CUSTOMERS AND WATCH THEM WANK? YES MR CAMERON, WE TALKTALK SHALL DO AS YOU ASK BECAUSE WE ARE SHIT.

You should phone them up to be sure and ask what packages are available to you.

My internet speed is pretty unpredictable. We pay $65/month. What's frustrating is that sometimes 120MBps while other times it's 12MBps. It's never consistent in speed. They've replaced the router with a new one. Now the company representative tells me that it's because I am using the internet via wifi and that I should never expect to get more than 45MBps.
