Recently I've been looking around for a new online experience to play, and I haven't found anything that really holds my interest. From my point of view, it seems like the only huge and growing MMO's are either in their later stages (WoW, GW2, FFXIV) or are grindfests (Black Desert online, Warframe, etc.). So, is it just a case of people sticking to one MMO and not trying something new, or are there any new MMO's actually worth playing?
Personally, I think the genre seems a bit over saturated, and newer MMOs are forced to actually innovate instead of taking lots of 'inspiration' from WoW. But in 10 years, I wonder if people will still be playing them.
