What the hell are you talking about? George Lucas had nothing to do with how 7-10 are going. He didn't have a single thing to do with any of the writing or direction. Its just the new writers working with the old star wars expanded universe material and changing it a bit to see what they can do with it.

If you would read around the ideas used in episode 7 WERE FUCKING GIVEN TO DISNEY by George Lucas who was already working on making a Episode 7 he then was bought by Disney and then retired leaving his idea to Disney which they used in Episode 7 he didn't PRODUCE the damn movie, but his idea was where the movies plot came from.
