I use to buy almost all of my games at Gamestop. But I always end up trading them in on new game and I never had any old games. So I started buying my games on the PSN store. That way I always have the games that I bought. And as far as PC goes I buy my games on Steam, Amazon and Origin.
I hear Gamestop can rip people off with trade-ins and used games. From the stories I've told they're more for profit than anything else, and will mercilessly take your games and give you as little as possible. That's why I prefer just buying it directly on digital, just so I don't have to deal with stuff like that. I can pick what I want, download, and start playing immediately. No hassle of discovering that the disc is broken, the game is not functioning, or any of the red tape that comes with buying physical copies at a retail store.

Usually I buy games online, through Amazon and Ebay, but sometimes you can find some good offers at stores like Best Buy, so I can be around a couple of stores checking out some prices. But honestly, I also trade or exchange games with friends, so that way each one buy one or two, but we all can enjoy a whole bunch.

I currently buy my games at Steam, as I said. And to be honest, I never wanted to take the risk of trying any other way to buy my games. But I have read some good reviews here. I think I am going to consider buying my games other way. Thank you guys!

I buy my games on steam. This is because of the sales every week. If I want a game I just wait untill it's on sale and then I buy it if it's below 10 euro. If I still don't like the game when I buy it i can always refund it which is another benefit of steam.

Sometimes I get games at discounted prices in some shops over here. I have also bought some games from people who were selling their previous games. Of course they were selling those games at reduced prices. If I can't find some games in the stores over here or if they are overpriced I buy them online.

I buy games in store. I don't buy games on online websites. I like to buy computer games in store because I like to see the item before I make the purchase.

I buy my games from steam, humble bundle, and spend rebellions on the shop! Digital is the way to go in this day in age ( minus console )

Where do you buy your games? Steam, origin, amazon, in-store, etc?

Personally, I buy all my games online. GameStop just doesn't make it worth going into the store to purchase

I buy in play stores, Google play store to be precise. They offer lots of great games, even free ones if you don't have the zeal to buy one with real money.

GameStop is great for used games and occasionally I might buy a new one from WalMart or Target. However, though, I haven't gotten into Steam and all that, but that might be something to try in the future.

I never had any luck when it comes to getting pre-owned games. It's always beaten up, or nearly destroyed from a long time of disuse, with discs scratched to hell and all that. I really don't believe in that sort of thing, and now I just get Steam games so that there's no physical copy.

I actually buy mine on the mall, where I had a time to choose and also can browse some interesting and vintage games. I think the shop is called Datablitz, they had many things that a gamer would buy, like the shop is a complete package. It's kinda expensive but has a good quality though.
