While gaming on your PC, do you prefer your Computer Keyboard or using a Usb Game Pad

I am a complete fan of computer keyboard as I seldom use any gamepads. Here's why: I am too scared to make a change. Haha, silly reason but I a telling a complete truth here. To change the norm is not something I am willing to do so I stick to my ever-lovely computer keyboard.

Keyboard is really good. I use my ps4 too but when I'm on PC you can find all buttons quickly and that's nice. But I sometimes will use a controller anyway, for games like dark souls. I just feel more comfortable with it

I agree with you on that, bud. That's really the benefit of playing with both. Each of them got their own benefits and perks. It's always nice to switch between them from time to time.:sunglasses:

I very rarely play FIFA but that is another game I do use a game pad for. Anything else though is keyboard and mouse for me.

I really think it depends on the type of game also, for shooting games and racing games I think the game pad or controller is best to use. For games like Warcraft, Starcraft and building games like Pharaoh it is easy to use the keyboard. for most point and click type games I think the mouse is the easiest way to go!

Frankly, I prefer playing by using Usb Game Controller. Playing by using keyboard can be very hard task, It is really hard to play some games by using it because they require currency. Moreover, the reaction or my respond to certain situations can be fast and better comparing with the use of keyboard. However, I play some games by using keyboard. Just because I am used to do that in some particular games.

Been playing with a keyboard since I first started using PCs at the age of 5. Yes always used external keyboards. Never ever had a problem with any of mine from home. I've even spilt water and stuff on a couple of them over the years but would let them completely dry off before using and they are fine. Ordinary Dell keyboards have been very reliable for me at least.

If possible I would stick to playing games with keyboard and mouse because I have been playing computer games for years now and I know that I can play well using these. I could adjust to playing with gamepad but I am not quite comfortable with them. I have a Twin Usb Gamepad here but I only ever plug them in when I play coop games with my siblings.

It depends on the genre. For strategy games, fps, mmos i prefer keyboard and mouse. for platformers, metroidvania style games and probably jrpg games i prefer to have a controller since I want to be able to relax my posture while playing the game.

A nice controller and an ergonomic chair is really good for your posture. I like to play for extended periods of time after work and I don't want any pain caused by incorrect posture to follow me on the job. But keyboard and mouse is so much better if you're playing fps or similar.

I mostly use a keyboard and mouse to play PC games because most games on PC are designed to take advantage of that setup. Besides, most of the games that I play on PC are FPS games, strategy games, point and click adventure games, MMORPGs, and MOBA games. I still use a USB controller whenever I play emulated console games on my PC. But aside from that, keyboard and mouse it is.

I have always preferred to use the keyboard. I find it more convenient and easier to use. I think it also has to do with habit and it can be quite difficult to get rid of a particular habit.

Hard question! I use a computer keyboard. I know where every key is and I am a fast typer which makes it's easier for gaming.

It all depends in the game. Usually with game that involve a lot of platforming, like Mario or Sonic for example, I would prefer to use a controller, but when it come to FPS games I use a mouse and keyboard, because I can aim better with a mouse than with a joystick.

I can agree with scotty when I say for more relaxed games I would enjoy using a controller meanwhile if I was playing something more competitive I would prefer my good ol keyboard.

Its hard to justify using a controller for a competitive game as you don't get better control with anything other than a keyboard and mouse. Also any multiplayer game without microphone communication you'll probably need a keyboard, unless for some reason you thoroughly enjoy that typing system for controllers. But for casual games like Mario a controller is a viable but necessary option. Also on a side note controllers are very helpful in racing games.

USB Game pad ALL DAY. I can never game with a keyboard or a mouse. I remember a long time ago I inherited an IBM computer with a cool ninja game. I was obsessed with that game but could never get any farther than level one because it was only playable with a keyboard. Frustrated the heck out of me.

Using a keyboard while playing can be very stressful and disorienting, pads are very much comfortable and exciting to use. It's definitely going to give you freedom to play the game well and also it would definitely afford you more control than using keyboards.
