What type of game Should we suggest to our parents?

Games are not only for young ones, adult are also included to have fun and enjoy their old age..
So what kind of game will you want to play with you dad or mum at their leisure time?

Lol I have never once heard this question but I would probably say a game that is a pretty good game obviously but a game that will really let them lose themselves in the game because after a hard day of working I'm sure that would be nice.

Something that's not very noisy visually, since my parents aren't the biggest gamers, I don't want them to get confused. My dad used to play Mario, and Mario isn't very busy with it's visuals, they tend to be clear to help the player, so Probably Mario and other platformers. It's easy to tell what's happening and what you're supposed to be doing.

I'd suggest some plane game to my father. He always wanted to be a pilot so it's what appeals to him most. I even played WW2 games with my grandfather and it went great! He wasn't in the war but he lived through it so he had a great time reviving historical moments,

My father would prefer something his hobbies of Soduko and Spidet Solitare, so some relaxing strategy game. The only applicable game in my Steam library are $1 gems of Hexoscope, Zenge, and Hook.
Mom isnt a fn of computets at all, but might want some karaoke.

My mom has high standards. It needs to be a game that will actually have a physical benefit for both your mind and brain. It needs to be a game where your brain is stimulated. I am being serious. If the game doesn't have any of those qualities, she will throw it in the trash like no regrets because anything that doesn't increase your education decreases the amount of money and degrees you can get.

I think I ATTEMPTED to get my late mother into playing a game once or twice, but she generally found it pretty difficult due to physical problems (hand injuries after a motorcycle crash in her teens, she was the cyclist), so I didn't really budge the issue much further. Knowing her general personality, I think she probably would've liked more traditional-styled puzzle games though, or various types of word games (she'd often fill up crossword puzzle books in what little spare time she had).

Well, generally parents don't like games involving a lot of bloodshed and killing, so I would preferably suggest them a mind challenging game or something light like Miniclip games.

Some parents might find this offensive, but probably something slow and not visually intense. I know that there are older gamers out there who can keep up with the best of us young folk, but the fact is that if you haven't kept up your "training" as you get older, many games just become too difficult for older people when it comes to reaction time and focus. I could never give my dad any sort of shooter unless it's on God Mode, otherwise he'd get wrecked within seconds. I would assume games in the puzzle genre would be optimal, or even something such as Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley.

That's a good one. It really depends actually, I'm a parent and i still can play little of those MOBA and MMORPG. I guess the best way to introduce a person to gaming something like tetris or candy crush. Things that is less complocated games are highly recommendable.

I would recommend non complicated game such as tetris and candy crush. Also games like Hay Day will work. Parent are proud so they will not ask their kids to teach them how to play the game so, with these suggestions, they can play it on their own.

Open-world RPG games. I personally would love to recommend Bethesda games to my mom as she loved the classic Diablo series back then. I mean they didn't have stories that are as good as the modern-day games have, and I want my mom to experience how good it's gotten. I wouldn't even dare recommend casual trendy games as I don't want her to appreciate mediocracy.

I think that I could recommend PlayStation Sports to my mother just because she likes the sports, but I really don't know if she is going to like it because she is an old mother who don't know a lot of tech and the only thing that she can "handle" is her phone, but I would like to play some games with her lol.

My father always liked games so that's never an issue. We gamed many nights away on the NES and SNES. He was a lot better than me as well, always taught me how to advance through different levels and so on. He was the first one to beat the Mario on NES

My mom prefers more mobile phone games rather than the computer or console types... but she does often watch me play and comment on it. She just doesn't want to play herself because she says she ''doesn't have the reflex'' for it. I'd recommend my mother to try to play some of the Final Fantasy games. They don't require quick response time, they have great stories, and amazing cinematics that she'd enjoy.

wooow dude I'm inspired really, and I think she is right some games are addictive and for young people who are irresponsible they will spend lots of time playing games and waste lots of money buying and upgrading for new games in short they live in gaming world, though some people are making good money in this industry but don't forget that others are just wasting time and money playing just to play!!
as for my parents, I don't have parents but if I had them I would enjoy playing tennis with them.

I do play football on play station with my dad and I know he enjoys every bit of it, mum is just not a fan of games but she enjoys candy crush and I help her out once in a while when she gets stuck in a level.

I would actually recommend games like Warthunder and World Of Tanks to parents. These games aren't very violent but they are still big titles. I've also seen a lot of middle aged people in these gaming communities.

Hi, I would probably offer them a nice game, a nonviolent one that would not make too much noise. Maybe I would give them to play Chess or Scrabble or the hanging game, I don't know, maybe a logical game maybe. My father has 60 years, I doubt he would want to play video games, but if he would want it to play, I would be really surprised!

I'd agree if that suggestion was addressed to a younger audience, but we can safely expect parents to be 50+ years old. I don't think they could start with such complex games right away, if this is their first approach to gaming. An older cousin of mine once saw me play Skyrim, and she was amazed by how many controls there were and how I could move my character AND the camera at the same time with different buttons. It's easy for us because we are used to it, but for them? Not so much.

There are easier games with very good stories that showcase pretty well what videogames are capable of. Games like Limbo or Never Alone have simple, yet addictive and interesting gameplay, they have a unique style that definitely makes them different from movies (I've heard my parents addressing videogames as "interactive movies" too many times) and, most of all, they leave a mark. Plus, they're short enough to be realistically playable by people who probably won't have the patience to play 30+ hours long games.

We should suggest time consuming game because they have alot of time to spend. Mostly I suggest those are not hard to finish games. Mostly farming games and those games that doesnt need to be ended and they just need to play it once in a while when they are bored. I think it will also be a good idea if you can suggest the game you are playing so that you can have bonding with them and most especially they can give you in game items and they can give cash shop items as gifts to you
