What's a game you'd like to see remade?

Xenogears is a game desperately in need of a remake. The story being told in Gears is outstanding, but the limitations of the PS1 impairs the story's telling to a degree. The game was also unfinished, and the last half of the game feels like a visual novel, more than anything. If Xenogears were fleshed out and delivered the potential it can be, then I believe that it would be one of the best fictional stories ever told.

I would love to see a new Unreal Tournament made. But I would like it to be made the old school way. The last Unreal Tournament was a mix of COD and Unreal Tournament. Back in the hey days of Unreal Tournament there was no such thing as camping and that's what they need to go back to. Just straight up free for all death match with no hiding or camping.

Wow, I agree with a lot of you guys. The very first Contra, some selected Final Fantasy Games, Chrono Trigger, all of these deserve to be remade. I'd like to add the following games to the list:
- Monster Seed - an underrated strategy and monster breeding game on the PSX.
- Xenogears - the best RPG ever created in my opinion.
- the Fatal Frame series
- Steambot Chronicles - either a remake or a sequel would quench my thirst for this game.
- Front Mission - one of the best mech strategy games out there.
- Chrono Cross - this was the sequel to Chrono Trigger and I absolutely loved it.
- Legend of Dragoon - I think this was Sony's first RPG and it was pretty good.

I would like to have a remake of CONTRA. This is the first game I played on Nintendo. I miss feeling the enjoyment when you get new guns and beat the end machines ever level. But I would be so happy when they make a 2017-ish version of it considering on our generation's technological advancement. I would definitely buy one when it comes out.

God, I'd sell a liver for a Spyro remake. The Crash N. Sane Trilogy managed to stay true to the original while breathing fresh air into the gameplay and graphics, I'd love to see something like that done to Spyro.

I would love to see some of the old metal gear solid games remade. I know they have newer metal gear solids but I loved the ps1 version and I think it would be so cool if it was for next gen and what not!

Virtua Fighter series especially Virtua Fighter 2 which i played so many times on Arcades. I personally like remakes and not remasters. People have to understand the difference between the two words. On a remake developers use new graphic engines to create the game as a result the graphics created from zero. On a remaster the resolution of the graphics change with replacing the textures most of the time. A remastered game has HD graphics but still they maintain the old look. On a remake the textures of a game replaced with new one which have great detail. I would love to see also my favourite game of all time Shenmue on a remake! Thanks for reading my comment.

I'd like to see a remake of the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake from the MSX2. I believe these 2 games deserves a remake because the Metal Gear franchise has always been great and with the technology today a lot of things can be implemented and the progress made by the game Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain can be explored even further.

This isn't exactly an oldie, but I've been dying for another go at FInal Fantasy XII. I really like the game but those PS2 visuals haven't aged so well. I'm not looking for a remaster so much as a true remake which takes advantage of modern graphic design and online capabilities. The game was built with an MMORPGfeel to begin with so why not give us the world of Ivalice in it's full glory that way?

I'd love to see The Warriors game remade, that game was a big part of my younger life and I've always enjoyed playing it. There's countless remakes I'd like to see but I can't list them from the top of my head
